I think so. The massage was so helpful and the therapist gave me some ideas to help me at home - like taking baths with epsom salts to reduce the inflammation in my legs and back. My left knee was still acting up through most of last week, but it seems to be back to normal today. Going to try to do some running this weekend. I didn't do much and I am feeling really lazy. I don't want to be in the habit of not doing anything. |

And she types freakishly fast, not fast like "I'm an efficient and valuable worker" fast, but "everything I do is important, so I am going to railroad through each and every email" fast. You can hear the constant p*ssed-offness in her typing. It's especially bad today, for some reason. (And no, I don't have a door and am not allowed to wear headphones) Is there a rule against breaking out into song. I would suggest tunes from 'The Sound of Music' on the half hour? That would be awesome. Fwiw, the typing drives everyone else nuts too - even our poor receptionist up front can hear it. |

I don't have acrylic nails (ewww!), but I do type crazy fast (somewhere between 70 - 80 wpm when I am really into it). It sounds pissed off, but it's not. I don't really have another speed. Just fast. |

It's like nails on a chalkboard - or rather, a keyboard. The fast typing just makes it worse. |

She apparently only knows one line or two of popular songs from the 70s, and various showtunes, and sings just the one line, over and over, with weird pauses between them. And she has about a 3-note range. It's unbearable. At least my sister, who doesn't sing well either, knows she is bad (my sister, I mean, not my mom), so when she sings, it's more of a joke. |

That's a bit unfortunate. I have this friend and she has this really irritating habit (to me anyway) or singing during the rest of the song and then started the versus again once the rest is over. What kills me is when I'm singing a song on my own and then she joins in and starts doing the 'singing during the rest' thing. The challenge is that she's really sensitive about her musical ability (i.e. she feels it should be appreciated more), so you really can't say anything to her about it. I know it's a small thing, but it kind of drives me nuts. |

My mom is the worst.... totally tone deaf and trys to sing really loudly at church..... the best is that she sings to the lyrics right just to the wrong song.... think of someone singing Row your boat to twinkle twinkle ... |

My mom is all sad that she doesn't have any actual musical ability and if you say anything, she'll start in on how she's so sad that she never got to learn an instrument or take music lessons, blah blah blah as a kid. I am actually a good, trained musician and I will not wander around randomly singing, because I feel that it's generally annoying to people. I also don't sing on command - that was the favorite thing for people to ask me in grad school - ick. I sing in choir or other specific performance, in church and sometimes will do karaoke, but other than that, I don't. |
