Yes, Panther, by all means join the group.

If Noelle says you have to post a pic, well...you best post-up, man.

Hey Panther!  Jump right in.

Chris, you can add to the list yes?

By the way, the rule (I just made up) is that for latecomers an abs before pic is mandatory Laughing  We have a gallery of photos though I can't remember how to get to it......

Holy crap - you people are on 39 pages of chatter?  I've (mostly) been doing my core and just recording it in my daily training logs... I didn't know this this thing was going to blow up like this!

Um... easiest way I've found to access the pics is through the link in Chris' sig line.

PIC IS MANDATORY (so says Noelle... and the rest of us)

Haha! You're not the only one. There's gotta be a non- pic lady just dying to post at 1month! Only if I can use that press-o-matic 6pack that made its way into our album. :D

I can verify that both Noelle and I got our 10 minutes of core in tonight. First we swam with another BT'er, then she paced me through a run (I was huffing and wheezing and ready to pass out, yet she might have taken a sharp breath once), and then we both got the core workout in. She's a badass. I'm just an (and still the only one to post an picture - ha).

Well, since BT was down all day, I actually did some core work:

2 x 20 pushup (1' recovery)
Bowen "Ab Ripper" video
2 x 20 pushup (1' recovery)
Bowen "Six Pack Abs" video
2 x 20 pushup (1' recovery)
lie on ground moaning

Got my core work in today. Only about 15 min. but I did the beginning test phase for the 200 sit-ups, 100 push-ups & 150 dips challenges.

Should I be reporting core workouts here or just on my Training Log?

Uhmmmm.... I had no idea you were serious about the ab pic thing. I think that would be a 'Lose-your-lunch' endeavor at this point in time if I posted a pic of that nightmare. Maybe a before & after pic at the end perhaps?

Well, that's OK too.

Just do your faching core!

Btw, I also need to do my faching core, as I haven't done it in a week.  My neck has stabilized and tomorrow is the day.

15 minutes in tonight. Will pop up in the morning to do 10-15 more and then head off to Warrior Dash with some buddies. Hard core training (both core and everything else) for the next few weeks after that to see what I can do to regain form for my goal race. Now time to start thinking about maybe a Half Marathon in the fall. I need running miles, I'm just too slow and weak.

I chased children around a science museum for almost 4 hours...and it counts for NOTHING!!! Missing her nap, baby girl was not a happy camper for the 2 hours before bed, and again I got NOTHING done. To make a little something out of nothing, I did squats while I waited for the pizza to bake. 5x20=100>0 Undecided

Erin this completely cracked me up.  Chasing children around a science museum for four hours is a total endurance event.  It is freakin exhausting!  Totally awesome, but whew!

I'm baaaaaaaack.

I did my core this morning for the first time in 10 days.  Yeah, that needed to happen, and I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow.

I have a little motivational carrot to dangle--why don't we plan on taking follow-up pics in three weeks?  Those of you who have been rocking this thing should have no problem with that, and those of us who fell off the wagon can just get right back on.

Who's in?

I'm in...but I'll be in Mexico probably without internet access so I'll probably just post it before.

I'm definitely feeling the results, even if they're not necessarily visible.  I got back in the pool today after pretty much a two-month hiatus and I felt REALLY strong pulling, and I felt like I was using my lats and obliques to do the work and not my arms.  The endurance isn't there (is it ever for me???  Foot in mouth), but I felt much more powerful in the water than when I was swimming a ton back in May.  Good stuff.

My body fat levels really haven't changed, so I don't think the picture will show much different, but I can post one then.

Knocked out 10 minutes last night and got about 15 minutes in earlier this morning following a swim and a run.
