OK team, we are tied for third place in the standings. Great job! Now, it's time to kick it up a notch and bridge to the leaders. Keep riding. Go Orange!

Ditto! Good job everyone!

I've had a tough week and haven't ridden since Sunday, but I am heading out today and have a race on Sunday. =-) I definitely plan to meet my goals. Go ORANGE!

Just increased my goal to 700 mins in 10 stages. Next week is my peak training week so should get the numbers in provided I don't get sick or rained on every day.

I did great in my triathlon today. Improved by about 9 minutes from last year. 5/14 in my age group. If only I could run better!

Hi Folks!

Question on how the scoring works here.  I did a spare ride today...just a little 7 miler on a stationary.  I missed my big ride yesterday, but still plan on getting in two big rides to complete my mileage/stages goal before next week.  Should I put the little ride I did today into the spreadsheet?  Does it matter?

Congrats - that is awesome! I have no advise on the running. A year later and I think I might be slower then this time last year

Anything over 15 minutes counts as a stage, all minutes count. Sure, put it in. Certainly doesn't hurt.

I finally got my bike fixed and am back riding again!

I just have one question: How long do the weeks run (i.e. what dates does week one go to, week 2, etc.)? That part is really confusing me!

I was just wondering this myself. From the inital post in this thread:
Week 1: 5th – 14th July

Week 2: 15th – 21 July

Week 3: 22 – 27 July

So, I think we need to go log last week's bike rides! [Erin runs/rides off to find the spreadsheet and start adding in her numbers]

Ok, I'm confused again. I just upped my goals but with the weather heading my way this week and traveling, I don't want to be too agressive. However, I saw this in the original post:
"No one can go over 100% of goal "

Does this mean I just don't get credit if I go higher or does it mean my numbers don't count at all?

I'm sure it means we are each capped at 100%, with no credit for time/distance/stages over that number. There should never be a penalty for exceeding your goals!

Velveeta has it right. Once you hit 100% anything additional is not counted. Go ahead and record it anyway.

Hey gang! We are in "week" 3 now, so make sure you put your stages on the far right side starting today. I moved everyone's cumulative totals over a few minutes ago, so it may be a little off, since it's already late in the day on the 22nd, but oh well. It's the cumulative totals that count.

GO EUSKALTEL EUSKADI!

Got in my replacement long ride yesterday! Woohoo!!  I am one ride away from my new goal.  I plan to do a bike commute on Friday that should put me over.  We are looking good on the spreadsheet...keep pushing it to the end team Orange!!!

I decided to not bike commute today due to weather concerns. I'll do it instead on Friday. On Saturday I'll pick up whatever mileage is left for my goal. 100% here I come!

Well I am about 84 miles away from my goal, but Saturday I have a 75 mile planned, so I will just have to add a extra ride or two in this week to get me over the top!  We are right there!  Keep up the good work!!

Question...What happens if I hit my time goal, but miss the number of stages?

I'm a lot closer than I thought I was!  This is the most I've ever biked in a month!

Your final result is an average of your stage completion percentage and your mileage completion percentage. Anything over 15 minutes counts as a stage.

So can she jump off her bike after 15 minutes, take a breather, get back on, continue her ride and count it as 2 stages?

(I am completely kidding by the way - no cheating for Team Orange!)

What now? I've hit my goal (actually gone over). 10 stages @ 700 mins was goal but I've done 10 stages with 797 mins. (I may still bike/brick on Sunday?!?...do I still add that in?!)

Anyhow...today I had a clipless pedal fiasco within 2 miles of leaving my house...but I kept going. I think I looked pretty tough to a couple of kids who were ooogling my owies.

I'm sorry you took a fall. I hope you are OK.

Go ahead and log all you stages and miles above your goal. It certainly doesn't hurt.

Ok, thanks for the info. This is the most I've ridden-great challenge!
