I once found a women's used panty liner in the shower- it really grossed me out.  That bothers me- like they coudln't properly dispose it?

Don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but I hate it when people sit bare butt naked on the bench while getting dressed.  Nuff said.

I work at a YMCA, so perhaps I have too many pet peeves. We had a phantom pooper. Someone was crapping all over the Y. Leaving it on the deck of the pool in a towel, putting some in the laundry drums, peeing in the non-wet elevators, etc etc. It was terrible.

We also have this crazy woman, who I know is about 88 (no exageration), who comes in first thing in the morning, wearing 2 swim suits, UNDERWEAR (granny panties!) 2 pairs of socks, and either a grocery bag or a WOOL knit cap wrapped around her head under her swim cap. She's also worn gloves (WINTER GLOVES) in the pool. The kicker? she stays in for (no exageration) 5 or 6 hours! She's stayed for my entire shift before. Just sort of noodling around. She also got crap all over the bathroom when she had an "accident" and then proceeded to tell the lifeguard that the housekeeper did it.

I think that depends on which gym you workout at.

Thats more of a "Gym" turnon rather than a locker room turn on though... If I'm wrong I want to work out at YOUR gym!

Saw one this week sitting in front of the mirror, drying her hair with the blow dryer with her towel wrapped around her waist, boobs a'flying in the breeze.  Now could you not have yanked the towel a few more inches higher to cover up the girls?

This weekend it was the dude sitting on the end of the bench, which directly faces a floor to ceiling mirror, buck naked, reading the newspaper.  He did this for at least 10 minutes.  On a Sunday.  With about 200 dudes milling about the locker room.  There were children present.  [INSERT MASSIVE SHUDDER HERE].

I seriously wanted to walk up and say, "Dude. WTF?!?!"

My husband used to belong to a gym where he took a cycling class back when he was racing. He said he went into the locker room once and there were two cyclists standing there buck naked rubbing vaseline all over their privates. Now, we put lotion in our cycling shorts, but he said these two guys were standing there chatting it up while they were just rubbing it all over themselves, more then necessary and longer then necessary. He said it was just gross.

Ok here is my ugly story.

So I am at the Y and getting dressed from taking a shower after the pool. And this old guy (like 65) comes out of the shower, finishes drying off and lays his towel down. Then he starts touching himself and gets a simi (like for 5 minutes). These two guys look at me and whisper what is he doing and I said I have no idea I am trying not to look.

I mean come on, there is no reason to you know touch yourself in a public area.

I also have a gross out from the Y locker room.  I'm in the shower and this oriental man comes in and starts to use the shower across from me.  He has a mass the size of a golf ball on one of his buttocks, he then puts his hands on both sides of the soap dispenser and proceeds to jog up and down.  Not a pretty site.

Another day I was in the steam room and this older fat man came in.  He laid down naked on the bench across from me and then started doing leg lifts.  Total gross out.  It's like a crash, you don't want to look but you ulimately make that fatal mistake.

Don't these people know there is a gym in the Y.

I think a lot of these nudity events can be attributed to a cry for sexual attention by the perpetrator even if they're older, fat, whatever. With the amount of body worship that goes on in gyms it seems likely that superficial sexual aknowledgement would be sought by some of the more desperate members even if that attention is sought from the same gender. It has long been my impression that anyone really into their own physique possesses a degree of same-sex attraction and desire for recognition by their own gender if only for the appreciation of the physical form. I'm not saying they're gay but there may be a level of bi-curiousity there. I think some of them may also be so delusional about their own form that they think they are absolutely awesome to behold and therefore feel compelled to share their glory with all of us! How shallow and sad. These ideas apply more to the bodybuilder types and not so much to endurance atheletes. Bodybuilders are after all trying to acheive an outward appearance... even the ones that are out of shape, old, fat, mental patients. Whether they look like a bodybuilder or not, they think they do. This crowd can get pretty weird.

lol... I remember back when I was really in shape and would sometimes get compliments in the locker room. I never really knew how to take that. I was like... thanks... I guess. There is also a dicotomy of feelings regarding the absence of those compliments. I mean its nice to be in shape and all (I am not now)... but I wasn't getting into shape to be complimented by guys. Sure, its nice to get recognition for all my hard work but its best when it comes from my target audience (read: pretty women).

Well, if she's staying in for that long she's got to stay warm...

A couple of weeks ago I stepped out of the shower and this old dude is wandering around the locker room offering people candy from a plastic shopping bag.  Naturally, he was nekkid.
