Okie dokie - I'm in (if you'll have me)...Sky or Levi's team (if not already full) - if they are both already full, wherever you need a workhorse. No access to TV, so it will all be streaming vid for me. (And this is my first time participating in a challenge - be gentle with me)

I want to play. Levis team or Horner's. I still get a kick out of Chris on the stretcher last year all confused saying "but I finished?". I plan to ride 16 times, call it 480 miles. Just putting it down before I change my mind.

I'm so jealous. I'd love to do this and I'll be bike touring in France from July 7-30th, so I can definitely get some rides in, maybe even one or two to the Tour, but I don't know about my internet access while I'm away, so won't be able to update my logs.

soccermom15 - 2012-06-28 6:22 AM Can I join too? Like some others I need the motivation to get me on the bike more often. Thanks
All in, all welcome... I will take sign ups right until Friday night USA time... this gives me overnight to get the teams posted and organised!
Just wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put in every year for this.
If there is anything I can do to help out, please let me know. Unfortunately I don't know how to set up spreadsheets, but anything else I would be willing to help with.

Thanks for the offer... my biggest request is that we all help the new people find it easy AND get actively involved with supporting each other
I know hoe much easier it is to reach your goals when you feel both accountable and well supported... and it is all about YOU achieving your goals in a REALLY positive way

You got it.
I have added everyone that has said they are competing to my friends list. I will be sure to help anyone that needs it. Wether it's for inspires, rules, motivation, or anything they need.
This is looking to be a great season of TdF Challenge.

I'll go in for 11 sessions. One question - what happens if I go over?
Oh and nice to see some people I know here soccermom and Gary.
Some challenges let people go to 105% but you can always adjust up. You want to push yourself that is the goal of challenges. Make it hard to hit 100% but not impossible!
Thanks wgraves - at the moment anything is hard to get on the bike, it's the one area I seriously lack motivation, but 11 sessions is what I have in my training schedule for the time in question +1 to make up for the sessions I haven't done this week.

Goal increases are ALWAYS aloud!!! Sounds like 11 is great to start with... and then if it looks to easy... up it!

Cat, I don't think I can ride during the challenge. It looks like I tore cartilage in my wrist and riding aggravates the injury. I will happily be a cheerleader and help you in any way.

Owie! hope it heals quickly.
Unfortunately, it's been going on for quite awhile and the cortisone shot didn't last as long as it should. I had an MRI yesterday and will be meeting with two orthopedic surgeons in the next two weeks to get their opinions.
