Subject: RE: What famous people have you met?

Chuck Norris:  I was an extra on the set of "Invasion USA", filmed in downtown Atlanta while I was a "student".  I shot guns then talked to Chuck.

Brittney Spears:  Literally ran into her at a hotel in Denmark for the crown prince's wedding.  She was performing, I was drinking.  I bumped into her.  Her entourage bumped into me, then put me down.  We had a drink.  She's short and fat.

Jack Nicholson:  Ran into his leg as a kid in a department store in Cleveland.  As I recall he was solid.

Harrison Ford:  Dad went to college with him and was in the same Frat.  At a reunion my dad called him "Harry" and my mom about passed out.

Jon Voigt - Filmed a movie in our frat house at college.  He was a butt.

Shaq:  A very, very large man that got out of a car next to me in Baton Rouge.  He just kept getting out and getting out.  It was rediculous, and took a while.

Al Franken:  Had drinks with him at the Admiral's Club at LaGuardia; a very thoughtful and funny guy all at the same time.

Greg Norman:  MAJOR ASSHOLE.  Was pissy to everyone on the plane...and I heard it all, as I was in the seat next to him on an LA - > NY flight.

Mike Milken:  Used to work for him, had dinner with him once.  Might be the smartest person I've ever met.

Steven Tyler:  Our company did Rock.com, a website owned by Steve, back in the dotcom days.  We had to actually WORK and do design sessions with him.  Now that's cool.  Where was Liv, BTW?!

All the Pistons (they go to the local Fridays after home games), George Jamison / Kurt Schulz / Barry Sanders / Herman Moore (Lions football / neighbors), Kid Rock (Neighbor - where's Pam, huh?), Chris Chelios (Golf Tournament)....Brian Claar / Woody Austin (PGA Pros / High School Golf Team), a few more misc Red Wings...and finally...

Dokken.  On Clearwater Beach.  They were listening to Twisted Sister.  Go figure.

That's so funny! I ran into her at Queen Elizabeth II's birthday party! What a coincidence!

Oh wait! That wasn't me. I can't remember the last time I was at a party thrown by royalty. Boy, it must be years and years.

I'm starting to understand why some people here can drop $5k on a bike!

Here a story about my friend the actor. I went to a birthday party for him and we were all supposed to bring a picture of ourselves with Matt. Well I couldn’t find a good one. There’s some girl in the US who saw my friend Matt in a movie and became obsessed with him. It was a little freaky, but mostly funny. Anyway, she had a site called the Matt Hill Mini Shrine. She had tons of pictures of him up on her site, so I downloaded a good one of him and photoshoped it to add me an my SO, so I had a good picture of us for the party.

To come clean, I saw him and joked that we should, but it would have been a very bad and uncaring joke.  Falwell is very opposed to alcohol because his grandfather was a moonshiner and shot his father who was an alcoholic when Jerry was in high school.

That's so funny! I ran into her at Queen Elizabeth II's birthday party!

That reminds me - there is a woman who bought the Princess Diana dresses and toured the country with the dresses. Her name is Maureen Rorech Dunkel. She's been on The Today's Show and I think Oprah (cuz of the dresses). Maureen and I used to work at Romac, when she was Mrs. R; I knew her husband and the kids. Then she became Mrs. D; I reported directly to Mr. D, the Pres/Chairman of Board.

Not at all. I've met lots of well known people, I've even been friends with a couple. It doesn't make your kids love you any more, or make your swim stroke more efficient, or your morning commute faster, or a nights sleep any better, or a PowerBar edible. On the list of things that matter, it's pretty low.

Oh yeah... I dated a semi-famous political figure who was in the Nixon administration and was rehabilitated. I deflowered him  during our college days.

Oh yeah... I dated the son of a semi-famous political figure who was in the Nixon administration and was rehabilitated. I deflowered him (the son) during our college days. I, on the other hand, was deflowered by a locally famous legal figure with sports connections; would be indiscreet to name names.

Oh, gawd. I will PAY you to stop using the word "deflowered". It just sounds so . . . floral.

Lemme guess . . . John Dean?
