Well I just finished a 15 pg paper in about 4.5 hours. It's 4 am, and I'm exhausted. I need to muster enough strength to do my Kenpo this morning, as it will be at least another 2-3 hrs before I hit the sack. I guess it was a good idea to take a nap after dinner (~3 hrs).

Now, now, Saling, I don't think yer too many ahead of me and yer retired!  Lucky dog.  But I hear ya about all these youngsters lurking on the Skinnies!!!

It'll be a resounding THIRTY year reunion in a few short years for me.  Ai yai yai.  I didn't think I could count that high Money mouth

Sherm,  I didn't see any water in that list.  Don't forget that it can be fun to be somewhat sober around the drunks,  they are fun to watch.

Trav,  You are right we aren't THAT far apart,  but my 35th is coming up next year

Why is it that when I go out to eat for anything work related, I can't seem to control my eating??? I could have had a perfectly delightful salad, but I opted for a burger that I only should have had part of, but of course ate the whole thing. In addition, there were yummy fried potatoes and onions that I had way too much of. Aren't you supposed to have a little voice inside your head that keeps you from doing stupid stuff like this?

Unless your holding back someone else's hair all evening, or constantly cleaning off your shoes. Then who's having fun...?

Kappie,  That would be the mirror in the restroom.  Look in the mirror and ask "Do I want what I was?  What I am> or what I will be?".

Josh,  That would be NO fun.

Does that mean I have to eat in the bathroom?

comet the dog - 2008-06-05 3:11 PM i see a serious hangover in your future. say hello to the porcelain god for me. its been a while since i gave a donation.

I have to get a serious vat of restraint these next 8 days.

Sat- bachelor party

Tues- back to Detroit for Jimmy Buffett

Thurs- rehearsal dinner (of course more alcohol)

Sat- Wedding

Sun- post wedding brunch and yes more drinks

My goal is to pick my spots. Enjoy a few on the bus to the game but not at the game, enjoy the parking lot at Buffett before the show but not drink during the concert, try not to drink at the rehearsal dinner, have a few at the wedding and not drink the day after

she looks great doesn't she?

Enders--

Bow chica bow wow... Keep up the awesome, awesome work.

Kappie--

What if you kept the 'bathroom' mentality in your head??? I mean everytime you're faced with a decision to eat something risky, talk it out in your head. Tell yourself you want something worth more than the guilt and the frustration... Tell yourself everyday that you are strong, and stick to it. Even if for only a couple of hours, then drink some water to help fill the void...

Why not try to stick to your plan except at the last minute you decide to cut your alcohol intake by half/per day you're drinking? Surprise yourself... Tell yourself you'd rather the sweet taste of victory and accomplishment!!!

So the first running workout after a LONG time- I must admit I was a bit scared. So anyway it was intervalk jogging/walking session so total time was 49mins and 21mins run. Karen survived allright but I'm not sure if she's gonna be into TRI- she hasn't done anything in a long time (3years) and she's a teenager so I'm not getting my hopes high. Funny thing was when we were walking home I felt I could do more but in the evening I felt nauseous and kinda knackered (in bed by9:15pm) and woke up with a "beautiful" cold sore this morning-but on the other hand I realised I was missing it. Well I'm glad I did that and again thanks for all your support.
