Which blows, cuz I'm going to the woods this weekend, where there will be frolicking and such.

You can just take the glasses off for that anyways...

But I cannot see if I do Frolicking is hard when you cannot see.  I may frolick into a tree or a ravine.

I will probably rock one contact lense in my right eye for all outdoor adventures and wear my glasses when we are inside listening to a talk, etc. Dance party is going to be difficult with glasses, though The whole point of the retreat is really the dance party

Maybe I should revise my statement:

You can just take the glasses off for BCBC anyways...

"frolicking in the woods" seemed like a nice euphemism.

But glasses during BCBC is HOTTTT! Glasses are just hot. Thank you, Tina Fey, for helping millions of women out there realize this fact.

Hehe, those are the kind I have - like Tina Fey's, dark plasticky frames that are kinda square.

I feel like glasses would fall off or get in the way.

I usually take them off because they always end up getting knocked off or smushed into my nose.  Not pleasant.

Apparently, smushed is not a word.  Weird.

mr2tony - 2008-09-17 9:14 AM Did I tell you guys I got third in my AG in the Great Illini Half Ironman???

Not that I remember, Congratulations Tony!

Yeah. Unfortunately they had me as a Clydesdale. OK people. I KNOW I haven't been training like I should but have I REALLY moved up to Clydesdale status???

So did you place in your AG or as a Clyde?

No as a clyde ... I was really 11th in my AG. I messaged the RD but never heard back. I feel bad for the guy who really got third in Clydesdale but thinks he got 4th and didn't get a cool trophy.

You know what would be really cool of you?  Look him up in the standings and see if you can mail the trophy and a note to him that explains what happened.  He really had your number until the run too.

Not sure what else though.

I'm The Cool Brian. He's the Other Brian.

That's right...He's the Cool Brian and I am the Hawt Brian.

Jebus, there are MORE Brians here?

We are everywhere.

How was the dentist?

Eye dr. It was fine. I still have to wear my glasses though, for awhile. Which blows, cuz I'm going to the woods this weekend, where there will be frolicking and such.

To consolidate:

2Goggs - that's awesome about the Half! Congrats!

oops. I don't know why I thought dentist, although I did see the dentist yesterday. Sucks about the glasses but I agree that they are hawt.

I need a neck massage...

The last couple long rides, the muscles on my upper back, between the shoulder blades, close the neck, get REALLY sore.  And they still hurt.

Is it your body trying to adapt to the new position?

That would be cool but they don't list hometowns or anything. I tried to google his name but nothing came up. I'll try the RD again to see what I can swing. I didn't get the actual trophy so I can't mail it to him, but just letting him know he medaled would probably make him happy. I know it would me.

Wow. You get a little physical huh? Nice. I've been married for seven years, so there's no physicality allowed during BCBC anymore. It's strictly verboten!!!
