She's actually gotten mad a couple of times - since she's sitting there with her daughters, who are both in their late 20's, and even if I look 21, that means my mother is still clearly above the drinking age! I understand why I still get carded when I order drinks. I'm less than 10 years over the drinking age, plus I look a little young and you can be fired from your job if you serve alcohol to minors, since the business can lose its liquor license. But the movie thing was just plain insulting, esp. since the girl was maybe 17 at best. No one has ever accused a 17 year old about over thinking a situation, i would agree about a movie theater carding someone though, that is just plain silly. |

I guess I don't see the big deal in pulling out an ID and proving my age. Now it would be annoying if I forgot my ID that day and they refused to serve me. With that said, I NEVER GET CARDED! They can see I'm plenty old. After my botox though... maybe I'll get carded again... HAHAHA! |
