Do you get stuff online and then ship back if they don't fit? Are any brands known as a better fit for short waisted people? Any suggestions?KOM - 2010-03-27 5:34 PM Most places I swim will be water temps in the 60s, rarely 70s Full, with sleeves. Whatever fits well. Yes, there are shops that sell triathlon wetsuits but I'm not sure what's in your area. Most online wetsuit shops will work with you to figure out what size you need and will take exchanges as long as the suit hasn't been in the pool. In the Fall I bought a sleeveless Promotion wetsuit from wetsuit.com and talked with them first about sizing (I have big shoulders but no hips). We still got it wrong but I was good to go after an exchange. Looks like they are on sale right now. There are usually really good deals from Xterra wetsuits with a savings code (through my triclub we can get the $400 Vortex 3 full for $179; BT usually has a deal, too but I don't know right now) |

Here eyes got REALLLLLLLY big. D001 - 2010-03-27 12:21 AM MDHillSlug - 2010-03-26 10:51 PM Right now, she just wants me to rest it and do some basic stretching stuff. You should have seen the look on her face when I asked about doing the 5K. D001 - 2010-03-26 10:11 PM In other, less happy news..... I finally gave in and went to the doctor. After 10 months of heel pain, I figured it was time.... End result.... It's PF. (Yeah, I wasn't surprised. I just haven't been able to get rid of it, which is why I finally went to the doctor.) And I won't be running any more this month. I'm supposed to REST the stupid thing. (Do you suppose that's why it never got better?) Rest? Um. I have a 5K next week..... OK, I'll compromise and walk it, instead of wogging it. Bummer though, because I'm sure I could have had a PR. Oh well. At least I'll pick up another new t-shirt. I'm sorry, Dee. Any PT for you? If you did it right you might have seen her head explode I always say "don't ask the question if you don't want to hear the answer". Excellent point. I guess I was just asking in case it was a definite "NO." It wasn't, so I think I'm good to go. (I'll walk, um, most of it....) |

Cole was up from 2ish to 4ish with GI issues. Poor kid cannot catch a break and I just don't know what to do to help him. And to poor on bad news, I think I injured my foot. I tried to run on Friday and I had to turn around at a quarter mile. Dr. Socks thinks it sounds like mortons neuroma. I'm gonna try to run on tomorrow (if Cole goes to school) and see if it is any better. If not, I'll have to can my running goal. I think I'll be a cheerleader for the April challenge. I just haven't been able to train consistently the past few months. Could Cole be allergic or sensitive to something that he's eating? You could try an elimination diet, and see if it makes a difference. Ow on the foot injury! But, um, are you sure you want to run on it right now? |
