Shanks had me do 2 centuries (116 and 100) this week, the former with a 6 mile brick run, and they sandwiched a 21 mile long run with a descending final 10k in the mid 7s. Gee, you think he is trying to slow me down on a race day? Still gonna man up and prove all you doubters wrong! Get your $ in the game. |

Possible, yes, but a huge task. Simply because I think it will be harder for Phat to over come the 5 minute lead, vs the Captin to hold that lead (plus whatever he gets in the water) I am going to throw down $10 on the underdog, Phat. Captin make Phat suffer. Phat, hammer like never before. |

No speed training showed today (season goal IMLOU) and was painful. Legs just didnt have that "5th" gear. 1:16:37 left me just .06 short of the Slayer, oh soooo close. Rumor has it he avg 23+ on the bike, crazy well done!! Congrats to all for "laying" it down!! |
