JoshR - 2012-08-26 6:00 PM It appears the most common times are on Friday 8/31 at 7:00 pacific/10 eastern or saturday at the same time. I can wiggle the start time by a bit.

We can do either night but would prefer an hour earlier.

Well, I just went ahead and changed it. I'm going to plan on this unless others complain.

josh rowe (Bro lo el Cunado) Draft Time changed from 'Thu Aug 30 8:00pm PDT' to 'Sat Sep 1 6:00pm PDT'

The original BT FFB League is in need of one more manager.  Not here to poach anyone from your league...but if someone wants in on both or if you didn't make the cut for this one....we have space for you.

  • Entry - $50
  • Draft - THIS WEDNESDAY, 8pm (eastern standard time)

Let me know...

zaichikmiller - 2012-08-26 5:47 PM Is the league still taking new members?

Assuming Tony joins, I think we are full. If he doesn't I'll send you a PM.

Hey if you ZAICH wants it he can have it. I'm not available for teh draft this week anyway.

You guys are lucky, really, because I would've just taken your money. And pride. And women. And men.

That's funny, I was clearing a space for my Trophy, amongst my others.   Do you need to know how to spell my name so you can write the check?

I see 4 reasonable teams out there.   Good luck, it;s gonna be a fun season.

For the record, I'm always open to a good trade. No one on my roster is off limits as long as you make it a legit trade.

Seven sacks and four interception, IIRC. Can't recall seeing a defense score so much without a defensive TD.

Also, interesting that a D/ST is not being credited with a TD scored by... special teams.

Oh, and in case you didn't notice... The Pack is Back!

We've had this issue come up in our league over the years, best explanation I've heard is that it doesn't matter what formation the play starts in, if it's a passing/rushing play then it's offensive, not D/ST.

I actually agree with that ruling, but it is interesting that special teams doesn't get credit for a special teams TD.

My understanding is that a play is not considered a "special teams" play until the ball is kicked.

My understanding is that I set up the league with the standard rules and didn't mess with that. Yahoo says it's not a TD, then I agree :P

Yeah, you were too busy creating a ten-man bench, thus effectively destroying the free agent market. :P

That is also standard. The only changes I made is 6pts for passing TD and 1/2 PPR.

Not really.  Bears offense, in particular Jay Cutler's thought process are out in the northwoods.  I foresee a black and blue NFC North again.

I'd like to start making some sort of a weekly wager with my opponents. Something simple like add something to your signature. When I get home I'll see who my opponent is and propose a wager.

Perhaps you can start by adding "I got crushed by a 16-yo FF newby" to your signature for the rest of THIS week?
