Recent Gun Purchases (Page 4)

made a deal with myself a few weeks ago that if I found an AR for right price, I would get my early xmas gift.  I was lucky to use local gunsmith who built a custom gun for a client who backed off and had it for sale at good price.  Striker Tactical is a FL maker and I am happy with the purchase. 

Just picked up a Sig 516.  The dealer that I use gave me the price he was asking several weeks ago.  Same gun is now going for over double what I paid for it.  Now going for over $3K, which is crazy. 

I bought a Kel Tec PMR30 a few months ago, they are going for more than twice what I paid for them now.

Just built my AR15 (5.56), and purchased MP15-22..... Looking to add an AK-47, and couple more pistol.. Glock 27 and S&W Body guard .380.. I still deep down want the Sig Sauer Equinox p229 .40 or the Baby Desert Eagle II .40 in the near future.

so many options..

Got the wife a Glock 27 last week, it's our first Glock. Put 40'ish rounds thru it earlier this week, really like it. We have some .380 autos that I like for their lack of overall size.

How does your wife do with that little thick pistol?  My hand was just too big, even with the magazine extension.  Does she like shooting that thing?

she has not fired it yet. She does like the way it feels and the action, but has not been to the range with it yet. I got it from our local shop used and got a good deal on it. So worst case its mine to keep. She does find out Ruger LCP too small and hard to use. Finds the trigger pull on our little .380 revolver too much too. I'd rather find her one that works stock over smithing a conceal carry hand gun. I don't want a gun that small that easy to use or discharge too easily. She does like my Kel Tec PMR30, but that is mine.
