Edited to make the picture not quite so large.

You're awesome! I swear I saw a "no pic from me" post earlier Wink

So FREAKIN awesome!  LOVE IT!  The Day0/Day100 comparison is going to be fantastic.  We're gonna be so pumped we took these:)

Originally posted by rdailey1 I'm in. I was a diver in college, used to do 30-45 minutes a day of straight core work with a 4'10" chinaman yelling at me. Totally ripped 6 pack, 6% body fat. Today, my abs are in a pathetic state of affairs and I weigh 50 lbs more than I did then. I'll post a before when I figure out how... I have no shame. Thanks for starting this, Switch!

Yes! Another pic poster--I'm holding you to it;)

Divers always have amazing core, and muscle memory is a powerful thing. It will be very  fun to see your progress!

OK, I'm totally spreadsheet challenged too, so it's very possible I don't know what I'm talking about.  Chris, do you need to add names to the sheet?  If not, could you post a little step-by-step on how to do it?

Chris is the MAN!

Day #1 in the books.... Yesterday I kept reminding myself I needed to do abs after my ride last night... I remembered just before bed but got it done..

Starting out I'm doing various crunches and planks....I will start incorporating some of the exercises in the link someone posted with video examples (thanks for posting that) to mix things up a bit...

Good luck all!

OK, everyone is in the pool! If you need to add a column to the right for a new name, click on Insert/Column Right. Then do a copy/paste of the total and percentage fields from the column next to yours.

Or put your name in here and I'll update it at my earliest convenience Either way is fine with me.

Welcome all.

Had to work very late last night, missed my run WO and at 11:11pm said "I'm not starting this way" and got on the floor and did a 10' core WO.  My dog thought it was late night play time, not a lot of help!

500 various crunches
5 minutes of planks (in which my cat thought it would be completely hilarious to keep walking underneath my chest and flicking his tail in my face)

Looking forward to adding some hanging knee raises back in the mix. Motivation!

your cat, my dog...he apparently felt the need to burrow under my arms while planking because he wanted to be scratched...i wish I had a camera to get a picture of it...

longest 10 minutes of my life last night...yikes!

Glad to hear it's not just my dog that makes ab work hard for me... he also likes to lay on my stomach and lick my face while I attempt crunches.

my German Shepherd does the lap on my stomach for kisses when I am doing crunches, my Shiba Inu (only about 20lbs) burrows under my arms while doing planks...I just can't win

I still have not tried this yet, and I have heard horr...I mean wonderful things about it.

Is there a youtube link for those of us who are cheapazzpunks?

I just want you all to know that two days in, my abs are sore.  I don't know if that is because of the ab work, or because some of you have constructed voodoo dolls to punish me, but it's working:)

Anyone else feeling this already?

Mine are not sore and I'm shocked because yesterday I made my class do side planks with a 3-5 lb dumbbell resting on the top hip.  It felt like my obliques were going to tear in half.  I guess one minute per side was not enough!

OMG--Noelle your class would have crippled me today.  See, this is why I need to work on it.

Comet-- I think she means she's done her two already--maybe knocked out #2 early this morning.  You are correct on the starting day.

I'm feeling like yoga instructor took it easier on us today for the two 50+ guys who struggled through their first class (gotta be proud of those peeps). So technically my time is in, but may do more on my own.

Here's my super fluffy before, my last year before...and my today before (I've added back a bit of fluffiness Undecided). If Switch doesn't mind, I'll just use her now pic as my after Tongue out

And I'll use your now pics as MY afters! I've ten billion times more fluff on my abs. Ha! I have a strong core ...I know that, but menopause has packed on some serious and abundant belly fat, burying them! One day they will show ...I hope!

I'm using yours as my 'after' too! You look fantastic now! I've no children and my midsection isn't as defined as yours! Great job!
