I think my bike mileage should be 159.1 month to date which I believe should be 69% of goal. Run % looks good.

It's a good thing I did so well on the bike....

My running is lacking...I think I underestimated by biking and over estimated my running.  It's a tough go, but I still have a few days.

GO SLUGS....

I will be doing some biking today and running as well.  Not a lot mind you.  I am hoping to get 3-4 miles of running, and 10-16 miles of biking in.

Friday is a rest day, Saturday is short easy run in prep for my final tri of the season Sunday.

I was hoping to go into the final week only needing 50 miles of biking or less.  It looks like I may need more, but I can get that done pretty easy I think.  I will likely run and bike some extra before or after my Tri, just to get some miles out of the way Sunday.  19.9 and 92 miles as of now.

I may ride more tonight, just to get that number lower.

Hey I admit I am slow, but I always shower after my workouts.  And just remember that the turtle was slow, and he still beat the rabbit.

Well the good news is I got a ride in last night.  It was only 15 miles, but it was something.  The bad news is I did not get a run in, and I am not sure if I can do one tonight or not.  I am still trying to find out if I am going out on a date tonight, all the normal sitters are not availible, so now I have to use a strange one.  Just kidding about that, we are trying to find out if she can watch the kiddos.  If she can that will kill the run, if she can't the run will happen.

Shawn,
Not to worry, you have had a lot of stuff going on this week.  I am sure that you would have done more had you been able.  Live doesn't always go the way we plan it.  And us old men have to stick together.  Get your rest, run and bike as much as you can.  Just don't injury yourself trying to do too much.

Make sure you have plenty of time with the wife and kids.  That is the most important thing you can do.  I can't imagine that my last words would ever be "Gee, I wish I had done an Iron Man."

I hear you on the slugish this week. I did too much last weekend and felt it this week. I am hoping to get close on my run miles but it will be close.  plus don't want to over do.

Good encouragement guys!

GO SLUGS.

I'm guaranteed to get 2.8 miles tomorrow in my TRI.

Shawn,

Do what you can when you can. I'm trying to figure out how to get 250 miles in 6 days on the bike. :-)

Most of us have families and obligations that come first, your priorities are strait! That is a good thing.

Good luck this week. Go slugs!!!
