barqhead - 2008-02-20 8:36 PM The world is somehow off its axis. I would rather run tomorrow than do the bike ride that is on my schedule. I can't believe I actually feel that way. What is this challenge doing to me??????
Just wait until next month. (Assuming Cat organizes the challenge, that is....) Peep. Peep. Peep. Yep. It's all about marshmallow PEEPS. Yeah, the ones that you always see around Easter-time. Yes - those brightly-colored, all artificial ingredients, microwaving expanding little PEEPS. Well, it was all about them last night during our discussion. But the world looks different during the daylight hours, and off Nibbs. LOL
I don't know if the Scissors are ready for the Peeple pic.

You can't leave us hanging like that!!

I am amazed with this team right now. I just went into the spreadsheet to check on everyone's progress for the month. Right now, we should all be at 68% or higher. 14 of 19 people have 68% or higher for the month!! The other 5 people are just short of that.

Congratulations to everyone for all of their hard work!! You guys rock!!

we're a reflection of our great leader!

Hm, and all along, I thought maybe she had a secret whip. Pink, of course.

did you say pink whip? HECK I would have been naughty today if I would have known that!!! but naughty I was not! I SWAM....I SWAM.....I SWAM.....I SWAM.....I SWAM......I SWAM....I SWAM....I SWAM....I SWAM.....I SWAM.....I SWAM.....I SWAM......I SWAM....I SWAM....I SWAM...I SW.....

yes every I swam was a lap! I swam only 15 laps...but that is because all the midgets that showed up to swim....and this forced two swimmers in my lane....I got skeeeard that I was going to plow into one or both of them....so I left! BUT I DID SWIM!!!!! so naughty I am not! at least today, who knows what the night will bring!

Oh, I can bust out the pink whip if I have to.  Or if you want me to.

MDHillSlug - 2008-02-20 7:18 PM I'm scheduled to run tomorrow, but wintery weather is making it look like it might not be safe. Friday might be even worse. Looks like I may have to put my run off until Saturday. Unfortunately, I was planning to take Saturday off since we're celebrating our anniversary with massages and dinner.

Be safe in the weather  that's the most important thing.  I imagine you're getting it a little worse than us since you're further north.

To me that looks like a reason to be ON the naughty list instead of trying to stay off of it...but I'm just saying

And true that about the GREAT LEADER

Yes, I had hours of entertainment last night.

I don't think we got more than a dusting but I'm concerned about it icing over. Supposedly it's going to be around 20 degrees tomorrow morning! Still, it may be a better bet than Friday.

It's supposed to be pretty much the same here.  I'm always a little concerned running outside when the roads are slippery.

Well, it turns out that the streets and sidewalks were 99% clean and clear so I was able to get in my 3.4 miles. Unfortunately, it was very cold (16 degrees) and my legs never really loosened up. It was a fairly slow run, but not terrible. Definitely the coldest I've run this year.
