Most Euro-derived Canucks are considerably more aware and proud of their heritage than say U.S. ones it seems, what's your heritage? "Touque" is one of my favorite words. Please send a picture of you in one. I love yellow. All my tri tops for major races have been mainly yellow.

Most people who have struggled with this don't have the best body image.  But just being able to see yourself (naked) in the mirror every day, you won't notice small changes, because they happen SO gradually (but a lot of gradual changes over 2 weeks really add up!)

I lost weight but I feel more fat

Well, if you must know, I'm a mutt.  I'm part Polish, Ukrainian, English, Irish, French and Native Canadian.  I come from all over the place!  I am most in touch with my Canadian roots, though.  I am super proud of my heritage, though, all of it.

Touque is a really great word.  Is that not used internationally?  Hmmm, who knew.  I understand that us Canucks (which is APPARENTLY a racist term, but no one gets offended by it) use a whole lot of terms like that.

I'll get you a picture of me in a touque as soon as possible!  You may have to wait until the winter months, though.  I don't think I have any...

What does it feel like?  Does it come in those massive bags like in Fight Club?  I still want to puke every time I see that scene where it gets caught on the barbed wire...

It's weird--I kinda feel that way too. I'm having a "fat week" despite being in Ironman hell month ... doesn't make any sense. I probably LOOK THINNER but I feel fatter!

Hmmm maybe you feel fat because you did lose weight (and fat) and now there's some loose skin?
