Morning, TAN.  Caught some of CDA last night, and saw you finish, ATX -- way to go!

Wonder if that's the first time Mike Reilly's had to announce "bikini waxer"?!  Surprised

(At least I assume he's still the announcer these days?)

So, during my week off, I rediscoverd coffee drinks.  I found my old espresso machine and made espresso drinks all week.

I also brought my french press to work and it actually makes the office coffee tolerable now.

Am I a coffee fairy/snob now?

Cool.

I was looking into school options myself the last couple days after talking to my wise parents.  I might switch fields and get into kenisiology or sports training/medicine/PT.

UNLV has a couple programs.

So, if this is my planed workouts for the week AND I have a MTB race OR half mary I can do on Sat (27th), what should I do and how should I work it in?

I could do the MTB race as the 2 hr bike I have to do on Sat anyway, OR do the half mary and swap Sat/Sun, OR skip both races and just train...

I do it myself because  pastors aren't paid what they are worth.

The remodeling is going fine... the window took up way too much time.  First, getting the old one out was killer.  Then we got a window for new construction, not a replacement... and then getting the window to fit in the frame was brutal... and then there was the flashing... I still have to caulk the window...

we got the drywall up... and the downstairs bathroom has a new shower door that I installed... the old one was leaking... and when it swung open it hit the toilet everytime... so I bought a slider.

The floor still needs to be done.  The tile for the walls needs to be ordered... and oh yeah... the bath tub still needs brought up the steps, and installed... as well as all the plumbing figured out...

Sorry to report that Mr. Tree is not taking it too well - I'm thinking it's the lack of rain we've had.  I'm still crossing my fingers, though, and keeping an eye on it.

Dayam, that sounds like a ton of work still.  Doesn't the church still have the notion of a vicarage, or are those days long gone?

Immigration sucks. Sucks sucks sucks sucks. I'm not going to be able to return to the UK because I'm poor. I need to find $5,600 USD (2,800 GBP) like, yesterday (and that's if my husband stays in the US because he'd cost an additional $3,200), and then not dip below that for 3 months...in which time it will be more than 12 months since my graduation and therefore I won't have enough points on the educational front to qualify, even if I have the money qualification. Annnd of course there's no work history for me because I'm freakin disabled right now and can't work. I'm seriously so f*cking crushed at this point that I can't stand it.

Brian can have a better answer, but the vicarage was for the vicar, not the head pastor.  They had there own house.  At least that's how the Lutherans roll.  Prly cuz they don't pay vicors much.

Ah OK, I should know all this since my dad was a Lutheran pastor, but he never had his own congregation after I was born.  Though I vaguely remember him saying *his* dad (who was a head pastor) lived in a house provided by the congregation...
