bcraht - 2013-05-13 1:48 PM Can y'all imagine where Salty would be if she hadda started running sooner?  My god, I WOULD have to get on my bike to keep up! Laughing

2 things I know:

1) Salty is smokin' fast. Any faster is just not right.

2) If she ever changes her avi, I may cry. She is also just smokin' hawt.

OK, I'm getting back to work now, I'm done.

I cannot argue either of those points.  Although if the avvie is equally hawt or hawt-er, I would not complain.

Asalzwed - 2013-05-13 1:31 PM Eeks. I am going to sign up for some track meets here coming up. I think the likelihood of being DFL is quite high.

Well, we should step outside of our comfort zone every now and then. This may be quite an adjustment for you, although I find DFL hard to believe.

My thoughts precisely.

So I waited WWWWAAAAAYYYYYY too long to book a hotel for my race Saturday night and apparently everything in town is taken. So DH and I are sleeping in a 6 person cabin at the KOA and I now have to pack linens. Oh well, we'll make it fun. It's the beginning of our "mostly no itinerary" vaca.

That sounds better to me than a hotel anyway!  We are renting a cottage for our trip to Belgium.  More like home (and you can be sure the linens are clean...)

Racing in Seattle means a hell of a lot more layers (and as you know, I don't wear a lot!) than Florida (where the avvie was taken)

Summer is coming though!

Firstly, let me agree that Salty's avitar is hawt and I, too, will be sad if she ever changes it unless, like Kirsten said, it is equally or more hawt.

Secondly, we are having some mega-wacko weather this week!  Tonight: frost warning. Watch out, tomatoes!  Daytime high Thursday through Sunday is 78, 79 with nightime temps around upper 50s, lower 60s.  Although once we get past the low temps tonight, the warmer weather will do much toward getting the lake over 60 degrees F for my tri this coming weekend.  Brrrr, I'm shivering remembering how cold it was last year, and me with only a sleeveless wettie!  No worries, though, manatees, I come armed with sufficient natural padding to help me survive, which is about the only thing it's good for!

Geeze, all over the place. That's good it will be warming up a bit for the tri though. You will probably be done before it gets too hot, right?

That poor little kitty.  He's looking at one bearded dragon and all of a sudden it appears next to him.  He about loses his sh1t.  He doesn't even look like he is in control of his limbs.  Look at the dragon look at him too.  "Dude, what's up?"  OMG I have tears rolling down my face!

We usually do a cabin in Moab but this one is about 45 minutes from the race site so it just means an earlier morning. Good news is it has a kitchen so I can stock my pre-race food!

Oops, fixed

Pre race dinner, Old Chicago Italian Nachos and a wheat beer! We don't have OC here and the last time I had it was the last time I raced up in Grand Junction. Looking forward to it!!

Sounds good to me.

I'm just curious, are any of you guys urban riders?

Due to time constraints (and because Yanti is trying to seriously kill me with this plan) I do all of my rides in the city.

I swear, every day I could do a full race report on the crazy stuff that happens.
