1stTimeTri - 2012-11-12 8:59 AM GOOD LUCK, 2Goggs, Mrs. 2Goggs, and Kido this weekend!  KICK SOME AZZ!

Thank you sir.  I feel like I'm going to throw up though.  I'm way underprepaired and shouldn't even be doing it and wonder if I should pull out.  But I'm paid up, might as well give it a go.  My body really let me down this last year.  Oh well.

Sorry to hear this.

*joking* Maybe you should do that 112 mile bike and 13 mile BRICK this Wed.??

More seriously, keep a cool head and do the best you can, that's all you can ask, right?

Kido - 2012-11-12 11:53 AM I saw the movie Flight yesterday with Denzel Washington.  Very good, but very serious and a bit uncomfortable as it deals with substance abuse and addiction - but I'm sure an accurate depiction.  I give two thumbs up if you are debating.

Vegas was COLD this weekend. 19 degrees and sleeting at the Ragnar start!

But I did win about $25 gambling. Ha.

Nice!  If you are ahead, walk away from the tables!

Yeah it was cold.  It was in the 30's this morning and my house was 59 degrees!  We didn't turn on the heat yet (but had to  light my fireplace up last night).  It should warm up a bit soon though.

We got the same cold front here in Tucson. 41 degrees on my drive to work this morning.

That Lake Mead trail is BEAUTIFUL, by the way. I'm a little jealous.

Temps look like 55/79 in Tempe on race day. For now. That would be perfect so let's not change it, mmkay?

I also thought this morning, I have something for you and Monica and TJ.  Nothing important.  Just a little Vegas flair - I just need to dig them up..

(no, and it's not bodies I "dispatched" in the desert)

My schedules tight this week.  I was just going to ride my bike from Vegas to Tempe on Friday with all my gear in a backpack to squeez in a last bit of training.

That's the plan.  I think my meds are off again.  I'm have been really fatigued the last few weeks so I scheduled an "emergency" DR visit and have to get bloodwork done today.  But there is nothing I can do before the race...  So oh well.

Uuuuggggh! Waiting on a call back from the doc to see if she thinks it was a reaction to the meds they put me on. I'm thinking yes as it only lasted 6 or 7 hours. Feeling better though - thank goodness.

How are you undertrained?

You did like four six-hour bike rides in 80 degrees in the past two months, you ran the three hours a few times and even swam a lot. I think you're plenty trained.

It was 30 degrees 3 hours ago ....now it's 70. I must change my wardrobe.

That is poor grammar. You're not changing your wardrobe, you're changing your outfit.

Unless you're changing your wardrobe, which would probably be quite expensive and time-consuming.

No. I meant my wardrobe. The whole thing. All of it. In protest of the weather.

Yes. Expensive and time-consuming.

All fabrication!

Since Sept 1

Only 3 rides 5-5:30.  2 at about 3:15, and 1 at 4:15

Only 3 runs between 2- 2:30

Little swimming.

YIKES!  As long as I don't hurt myself, I'm good I guess.  And I got 17 hours on an easy course.
