yo peeps... so between the funeral and this cold my running plan is shot... and my oly this weekend is looking to be totally mediocre... at least as far as my performance is concerned.

Dude, tell people to stop dying and inconveniencing your training plan.

You never know.  I hammered my last try last weekend with a cold.  Also, I have had some of my best basketball and volleyball games EVER suffering from some kind of flu/cold.

Running with a cold = teh suck

It certainly held me back yesterday.  Congested lungs are no fun.

Heh...you think they're bad, don't do a Richmond Multisports race.

Set-Up's races are usually really good and they're all fairly convenient to this area. But lately, it seems like they've had some snafus.

Set-Up's races are usually really good and they're all fairly convenient to this area. But lately, it seems like they've had some snafus.

Yes.  I am willing to give them a pass for this weekend.  All things being equal, they did a very good job with the changes from the weather.  Had it been a different company running it, I would have considered not going.

The shoulder is tight but loosening up.  I rode yesterday without any complaints from my shoulder.  My quads on the other hand.....they were throwing a fit.

Oh, I don't blame them for canceling or changing the races to a du, if it was unsafe. I understand why my race was changed to a du - I drove past the lake and it was brown. It is not usually brown. Set-Up has effed up in other ways though, most notably at the Reston Sprint.

The "hot for heels" gave me an idea...

Could you tri chicks start up a "hot for bras" or "hot for thongs" thread please?  And include pics...
