I had like a million comebacks but Salt -n-Pepa lyrics are now in my head. Like Felicia said, coincidence that I think Salt(y) is the cure for sickness? I think not. And Faris is the main man, no doubt about it. I do feel a tad creepy stalking JT. But just a tad. HOLY BALLZ! STOP THE PRESSES. In trying to find JT's age, I have just spent the last 20 minutes in his blog and, um, I'm not quite sure how to say this, but uh, he, um...Elliptigos. No chit. Link to the blog entry: |

Oh and my bad, they were World Championships. I think they skipped National and went straight for the gold.
And yes, I am in. Hopefully no discarded beer cans get caught in their wheel. |

Here are the measurements I got from the 1st pass. Now to try and work out what it all means and what I need to adjust. Any help from you bikies out there? Apologies for the gross use of my split shorts, only way I could mark my hip. ********Oh, crap, how do I put pics in when using an iPad ??? Being a cheerleader (coughhecklercough) for a EWC in the making. JT, are you man enough for all this? And it's in San Diego, knowwhatimsayin? But the timing is all off...looks like it's in early September, and my guess is JT is going to be doin the 70.3 Worlds right about then. Ben, you have a direct line to him or something, right? What's the word?

Seems this takes time away from keeping up with you guys Jo- sorry to hear about your arm. You've got a positive attitude...and lots of other things to keep you busy! Mel- do you WANT to do the race? You've got time to train, and you CAN do it. Do you think signing up for it will give you the spark of enthusiasm for it? Salty- awesome race! And I'm on viewing #3. I expect my son will be attempting the Lean at some point today TJ- glad you and DS2 survived Denver. If you're 85, how old did he turn? hehehe Chris- sounds like you had lovely vacation (no speedos involved?). Welcome back! Monica- you got it posted! lol To pic posters- BLESS YOU

Master 3870 | Subject: RE: Mad Manatee Mentors 2013: CLOSED (exc/ Pop Tart bribes) Oh...today was the first day of my marathon training! Using Hal's Novice 1 plan...with the total understanding that even this will have a steep learning curve for me as 13.1 (maybe 13.3) is my longest run, race or otherwise. Picked up Daniels' Running Formula as my next reading. Since it seems I'll be doing a lot of it for the next 19 weeks, I'll arm (and leg) myself accordingly. |

Master 1970 Somewhere on the Tennessee River | Subject: RE: Mad Manatee Mentors 2013: CLOSED (exc/ Pop Tart bribes) What's all this fuss about a Speedo? That's all I have ever trained in. It's still de rigeur for those of my time period. Granted, I haven't raced in one since doing so in a couple of the Bud Lite tri series back in the 80's. Wouldn't dream of wearing nothing else for the pool sessions. |
