TJ, I wonder if you need salt. 

Salt is really my cure for everything.  Does that sound good at all? 

Some broth w/ salt?

Salty chips or fries?

SBUX salted caramel latte w/ extra salt?

I mean, Jesse is cute, and all, but he looks like he should be a student in one of my classes. Faris, ahhhhh. I just noticed that my husband has the same beard. Accident??? I think not!

I had like a million comebacks but Salt -n-Pepa lyrics are now in my head. 

Like Felicia said, coincidence that I think Salt(y) is the cure for sickness? I think not.

And Faris is the main man, no doubt about it.  I do feel a tad creepy stalking JT.  But just a tad.

He had a broken foot this year, so was trying to find anything and everything to do so he wouldn't go completely nuts.

Did you know they had an elipitgo national championship?

National Elliptigo Championship?

OK, that screams you, me, lawn chairs and a cooler full of beer. 

And listen to me now: if JT goes to those championships, WE ARE GOING AND HECKLING and I may do a little bit of drooling

Oh and my bad, they were World Championships. I think they skipped National and went straight for the gold.

And yes, I am in. Hopefully no discarded beer cans get caught in their wheel.

Do you know what's cooler than being an Elliptigo World Champion?  Being a cheerleader (coughhecklercough) for a EWC in the making.

JT, are you man enough for all this?

But the timing is all off...looks like it's in early September, and my guess is JT is going to be doin the 70.3 Worlds right about then.  Ben, you have a direct line to him or something, right? What's the word?

Been trying to "unplug" and be more present in my daily moments. Seems this takes time away from keeping up with you guys

Jo- sorry to hear about your arm. You've got a positive attitude...and lots of other things to keep you busy!

Mel- do you WANT to do the race? You've got time to train, and you CAN do it. Do you think signing up for it will give you the spark of enthusiasm for it?

Salty- awesome race! And I'm on viewing #3. I expect my son will be attempting the Lean at some point today

TJ- glad you and DS2 survived Denver. If you're 85, how old did he turn? hehehe

What's all this fuss about a Speedo?    That's all I have ever trained in.     It's still de rigeur  for those of my time period.   Granted, I haven't raced in one since doing so in a couple of the Bud Lite tri series back in the 80's.     Wouldn't dream of wearing nothing else for the pool sessions.

If by "direct line" you mean receiving the Picky Bar newsletter, then yes.

Pulled an off-the-wall 1:09 100 scy at end of practice tonight. No buoy either.
