mr2tony - 2009-11-20 8:49 AM Crowny you doin' OK bro? We HAVE to get together next week for food and drink.

Getting kind of rough around here.  Had a few drinks with my VP last night.  Basically a download of everything that is going on around here.  Hasn't been easy.  1/2 of me wants to resign and the other 1/2 is worried for my job.  I'm busting my butt here and it feels like (I know, perception, blah, blah, blah) nothing is good enough for her.

Next week is gonna be tough.  Leaving on Wednesday night to go to Iowa for Turkey day.  But Beth and I do want to go out with you soon.

I was talking to him when I was there (he's in our Marketing group) and it came up that he does Tris and rides with a fast Tues night group in Carrolton.  He's prob in his late 20s, super cocky guy, bald headed.

Batch, how slutty should I dress for Saturday? Like Seven jeans and heels, or skinny jeans and pointy flats?

So, I followed Meh's recommendation for finding places to apply for jobs.  Threw darts at a map until my arm hurt (didn't get nearly as many throws as I thought I would).  Ended up with a bunch of darts in Canada; a ton of darts in the Gulf of Mexico/Cuba/S. America; a bunch in Nebraska (and not the populated part either); upstate New York; Rhode Island; AZ between Tucson and Phoenix; 2 in Mobile, Alabama; one near Austin, TX; and one in Los Angeles...and a bunch in both oceans and the North Pole.  This has made me realize two things.  One: there are a lot of places I've never been, and two: I really suck at throwing darts.

Good point on the heels - yeah, that's what I rock when I go out as well. Lately, I've taken to wearing flats b/c I'm not really supposed to wear heels, but one night won't kill me

Well, out of those places - Austin and LA don't suck entirely at least in terms of not being in the middle of nowhere. Actually, I hear Austin is pretty cool and progressive. LA, I hear is what it's made out to be on TV, lots of plastic rich folks running around being shallow and vapid. Unless that's what you're into

Mobile, AL is actually VERY cool.  Good weather, close to beaches, AWESOME food and downtown has decent nightlife - Mobile claims to have the ORIGINAL Mardi Gras celebration.  There is a school there that is famous for it's nursing program (so lots of pretty young girls).  Not sure what the job scene is, but it's not a bad place for a young single person to live.
