Absolutely!  So great to see youngsters involved in sport.  What kind of race is it?

It was a kids only Tri. There were three separate races for 3-5, 6-9 and 10-12. The RD put me in charge of transition which was mostly awesome. The usual announcements to not ride in transition but so much fun to watch. As usual the parents were the difficulty. I reminded one young girl shed forgotten to put on her helmet and her father said "nobody said she has to have one!" I wanted to tell him he's an idiot for letting her ride without but instead found a loaner for her :/The 10-12s weren't allowed to have outside assistance. Getting the parents to back off was quite a challenge. But over all a great race and so much fun to share with the kids. I even got a mom hooked in to some Tri opportunities.

Not surprising that the parents were the tough part.  Hope that dad figures out that the few $$ for the bike helmet are worth every penny!!  I can't even imagine how sweet the 3-5 y.o. group was!!  Good on you for supporting such a cool event.

Hey guys! Had so much fun yesterday. Had a very difficult day on the bike which made for a tough marathon but I did it and still beat my goal of 15 hours so it was a great day. So much fun.

Details later. Right now just trying to figure out how to walk

Aw Yanti - sorry to hear about Ryder - that's so sad.

I'm just dropping by for a moment. I think I will be back when the new mentor thing starts up again.

I miss you guys. But I've been soooooooo busy - all things stalking!

Good to see you have the proper concerns

Seriously though, great job out there. Really cool that you worked through the challenges and still beat your goal.

140.6 for sure.  That's what I would do, anyhow.

Find a mentor. Make a list of at least three people that you could approach for help, list your specific needs and then be courageous enough to begin asking.
