Rynamite - 2008-11-03 1:57 PM 2Goggs and bcart (and any other car lovers) I got a ride in a new S6 over the weekend. It was freaking SICK.

I've ridden in the RS4 on an auto-x track and it was balls-out awesome.  I can imagine what the RS6 is like.  Lucky.

Funny. I saw an S6 this morning. Super nice.

Yeah, it had all kinds of power.

However, the cool thing is... they run like a 13.5 quarter mile. My streetbike runs in the low 11's stock. I love streetbikes

Yeah but it's a big 4-door family car. With a V10, is all. Just a tad more practical than a streetbike. Damn young punks.

Not practical, mind you, just more practical than a streetbike.

That makes me laugh.

mr2tony - 2008-11-03 2:40 PM My boss just came back and told me it was up to me -- I could cover Obama since I had seniority. The other reporter was super excited about going and looked really sad that she wasn't going to be able to go, so I deferred to her. I'm a sucker.

No, sir.  You are a gentleman.  And I am honored to know you.

I really hope the Steelers can stop Clinton Portis tonight. That'll be the key to their victory...

That and keeping their offense balanced. They have really been doing a number on defenses by keeping the play book wide open.

Ha. Thanks. She just came running up to me in the kitchen and gave me a hug. She is like a kid on Christmas. She's 23 and this is her first job out of grad school. I feel better about it -- she's super happy and that makes me happy.

Agreed.

I think the Giants are a better team than the 'skins... and they hung right with them for the most part, so we can definitely win this. It'll be a good game.

I'll be surfing between that and the Blue Jackets game... I really wish they didn't suck so bad.
