Wife is off this week. We've spent most of the day laying on the couch watching season 3 of Monk!

ex_rower - 2009-10-05 12:36 PM What's up TAN, anyone else having a slow monday?
Again?? Who are you and what have you done with ex?? Slow... just waiting for the new job to start. I have pushed off everything else that I usually do at month end. So I am just playing with my new iPhone and surfing the net.
what's the new job? Our server is going really slow here at work so I can't do much of my work, just checking out what's going on in TAN

Same type of work... financial analysis... but for the medical side of the business v. pharmaceutical as it has been in the last 2.5 years.

How is Monk?  Worth picking up if I've never seen it before?

Our whole family loves Monk. The main character has OCD which makes him  a brilliant detective. He is able to pick up on the slightest details. Has it's funny moments as well as a few heart touching moments.

Just put in my order for some Sapim CX-Ray spokes for a lightweight tubular wheel build (DA 7800 hub, Kinlin TB-25 rim). Woot.

I need to get these Zipps in to get new tires on them. And to get a cassette on them. I should do that today.

Can't you do that yourself?  Both are pretty easy.

First congrats on the engagement!

So is this wheel for racing only?

Probably not, I'd save something like a set of EDGE or Zipps for racing-only. I *might* get a disc cover for racing next year if I don't find a real disc that I like on the cheap. Got to start saving them dollars though.

Someone brought in Elk Jerky to the office once.  It was so good, it was like meat candy.

Wait, not sure if that came out right...
