if you're still makin them, i'll take an espresso kido...Cool

come to think of it, been ages since i've had one.

I'm due for a second! Mine are not a good as starbucks, but they have less sugar and cost pennies on the dollar to make compared to buy. Maybe I can wake you up with one someday! ;-) giggity!

woot! sounds nice.

how much was your machine?

no clue. got it for free years ago. It's been in the pantry for years unused. My recent trip to Paris got me hooked on making them.

TAN prayers please?
Grandma admitted to hospital today. I am sure things will be okay but it is heart-wrenching to think of her in pain, and not well. I can't even think about it.

Oh mah gawd was dinner ever delicious!

Tony made baked salmon with garlic butter and lemon over a bed of rice with steamed snow peas and baby corns and then a side salad with an amazing dressing that he just decided to make up.  Supremely AWESOME!!!

And now I'm full.  Really, really full cuz I ate too much cuz it was way too good.  NOM!

Did you have tootsie roll for dessert?

No updates yet - and now it's too late to call my Mom. I will first thing in the morning.

Did go out for drinks - it was lovely, except the first person I saw when I walked in the bar was DrSpeedo my ex. Really?! Can we not follow each other to the same bars for our dates?? Uugh. Had a good time though. Night TAN.

OK it's been a week. How long does a pulled/strained neck muscle take to heal? Anybody? Anybody?

Could be anywhere from a few days to a few months, sorry to say. Depends on a lot of things ... what caused it (if known)? Which muscle? Is it torn or strained? What movements are painful/restricted? Are you sure it's a pulled muscle as opposed to say, a cervical disc herniation, or some other condition to which a pulled muscle may be ancillary? How did you treat it in the hours following onset? Sudden or gradual onset?

Is it wrong that I'm more essited about going shopping for stuff to make our flat all Christmassy and festive as opposed to going out to dinner?

I think its from trying to military press a small Volvo. It was sudden and I have neckrophilia -- I cant turn my head left to right with the same flexibility I had the day prior to the military presses.

Morning, TAN. Showed up to work "late" today... and I think I'll leave early. Probably worth it.

So I met the little lady's dad and dad's best friend last night, impromptu. I got the pleasantries from the dad, and the "Don't you dare hurt her... she's not my daughter, but she might as well be" from the friend. All in all, though, it went well. I think that, so far, at least, I got a passing grade.

also, since i'm here talking to myself, i am going to the chick fil a bowl for new years (husband is a UVA alum and we have buttloads of frequent flyer miles so why not?)

i am going to be REALLY disappointed if there isn't lots of sweet tea and chick fil a sandwiches.  i also envision a sandwich-quarterback competition for the kiddos during halftime maybe.
