I just vacuumed, and swept the downstairs floor, washed the dishes, and even got some reading done while the youngest slept and the oldest played some computer games... I don't keep the neatest house... but I do clean... and I would put out every night. OK.... off to the gym for a swim. -B What about cleaning the toilet and doing the windows? Make me some dinner, beee yotch. |

What do you mean? I'll give you an example. The high school I went to graduated 420 or so students. I knew, at least by face recognition, most of the class I graduated with. I also knew a good portion of the Juniors and some of the Sophomores. I would estimate that by the time I graduated from high school, I met 1200 or so people that I would remember by name or facial recognition. I would think that at a larger school (say an inner city LA school) there are quite a few more in a graduating class, so I would think that there are people in the same class that didn't know each other at all, so the math would not necesssarily hold true. My question is - based on your life experience, how many people do you think you will meet and know by facial or name recognition in your life, based on an average 70 year life span. |

Plus, college (including an entire MIT fraternity), grad school, the year I did taekwondo, folks I've met through triathloning, jobs, and I've met a lot of folks at church. Lots. |

What do you mean? My question is - based on your life experience, how many people do you think you will meet and know by facial or name recognition in your life, based on an average 70 year life span. Couldn't even guess a number. I meet a ton of people, but don't like most of them. I'm bad with names, too. I could walk up to a girl and remember her 10 digit phone number, but not her name. I'm not necessarily stuck on names - just people that you would recognize as someone you "know" if you saw them on the street or saw their picture in the news. |

Yeah, and some, like the basketball coach's son, I would probably have a different name associated with his real name, like azzhole or scumbag. |

I could recognize people I saw on the T riding around Boston - didn't know them from beans, but had seen them enough to recognize that I'd seen them more than once. To be honest, I don't even know that I could guess correctly. |
