How wonderful it is to have time to do these things -- life is good! Unfortunately it's back to reality tomorrow. I'm traveling this week, so my running will have to be on the hotel treadmills. But I'm racing again next weekend, and that should get me to my goal! Have a great week everyone... UNDERSTATEMENT! Cheri WON Grandmasters!!!! Woot!!!! All of you guys are so sweet! This should be fun Robert - best of luck. Don't stress it. It'll be one the most awesome experiences ever. Be prepared for a crowded course - the entire distance. NY'ers are the best people in the world - it's the foreignors that get all hyped up and push their way through. dont' get caught up in it all. Relax. Dont' forget to bring throw-away clothes to wear at the the start. Enjoy the spectators, especially on 1st Ave. I'll be around mile 18 (86th st.) I always say, there are marathons, and there's NYC Marathon. 2 completely different races. Even though it's apparently your first marathon, don't expect to PR. Just enjoy it. Run it to finish it.
