I have a 2 mile run and a cardio dance workout tape to try out (trying to break things up for November so the body will hopefully drop a few more lbs.)

Accomplished my first peach for November, but it was not too impressive. Yesterday morning I was hit by a car while on my bike. I am okay (at least my cranium is intact) thanks to my helmet. However my right knee is swollen, and I have an assortment of bruises. I did manage to get out for an easy 1-mile walk with a knee brace, and did some yoga. Total time 48min. I really, really wanted to run, but I should probably take it easy until I see the doc Monday.

That's awful!!  So glad you aren't hurt much worse than that!!  I was going to suggest icing, but realized you're a nurse and are probably on top of that   Heal fast!

Take it easy until seeing the doc just to make sure you don't make anything worse. Here's some mojo ~~~~ for a speedy recovery.

Wow!  Glad your head is ok.

Amazing that you earned your peach today with more than you needed to!

Take care and let us know what the doc says.

If not for this challenge, I probably would have found a reason to take today off.  Instead, my youngest daughter and I walked this evening for 31 minutes & then I stretched for 17 minutes upon returning home.  Thats 48 minutes of moving thanks to this challenge!

Congrats on the PR! WOO HOO!!!!

No, I don't get overtime or comp time. Comp time is when you have time 'banked' or owed to you and you get to take paid leave later. Leave an hour early, and get paid, etc. I don't get squat but screwed on daylight savings time.

I started my November challenge with a bang--I ran a half marathon yesterday. Today I will do a recovery walk/run and stretching. My calves and hammies are sore.

Yard work for me today - done.

Maybe a hike with the kiddos before the Cowboy game.

Is there a compiled list somewhere of everyone on the challenge?

I almost took the day off today.  I nearly forgot that I MUST get in even a small workout in every day of November.  PHEW!!

I set up one of my bikes on the trainer for the season.  This bike will stay there for the season.  If I ride outside I guess I won't have a choice on which bike. I hate setting up and taking down the trainer.  I just hate that riding in the winter stinks.  I wish I weren't such a Winter baby.

I have a bum leg right now so no running for me for the past 8 weeks. :-

I hope everyone is having a great weekend.

GO EAGLES!!!
