So How are we looking training wise , Are we going to make a move UP the  rankings  this week ?

Its the 10th so we should aim be around the 33% mark for the month .

Hopefully I'll be able to help us move up in the rankings this week.  I was a big fat zero after last week but I'll be getting back to the pool tomorrow.  It might take a little more effort to hit my goal but I think I should still be able to do it.

Good Morning Everyone, I just past 50% of my goal for the month!!! I guess I under estimated the miles. I thought the holidays were going to "force" me to slow down some

I ran this morning in a light rain because I figured it would probably be better than running in what they are predicting for tomorrow AM. Surprised

I'm a little bit behind the challenge pace but will get caught up soon.

It's awfully quiet here in Team Blizten land.  Guess everyone is already tucked away in bed.  I'm still stuck at work.  And I'm stuck with free time on my hands.  Can you tell?

Hi Team,

I am at home with a stomach bug. So no training for me since yesterday and no race on Saturday.... BOOOOOOOHOOOOO. But I feel crappy enough to see that doc has a point there.

I still feel confident to reach the challenge goal.... So no worries... This reindeer won't be grounded! ;-)

On, Comet! on Cupid! on, Donder and Blitzen!

To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!

Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,

When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,

So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,

I am absolutely, without a doubt, completely unmotivated to be at work tonight.  I just want to curl up with some hot coffee and a book.  I'm going to go hit the fitness center for a bit and see if that will perk me up enough to get my work done.

Did the Beast (Los Pinetos)   Mountain run  saturday and it was very challenging . Our local paper covered the worthwhile event with this story.

Best part was raising   $ 3300  +   for The Santa Clarita Food Pantry .

In the midst of power outages, internet interruptions, and ice storms extraordinaire, your fearless challenge leader plunges on, tackling the excruciatingly important task of...

THE WEEKLY STANDINGS
*cue ominous music*

With 39% of the month gone, our valiant reindeer are fighting blinding snow, record temps, and gorgeous sunshine to battle it out for the top of the standings. It is a close battle, each team buoyed by powerful members and weakened by a few. And here, the moment you've been waiting for...

1st: Vixens, with 39.45%
2nd: Dancers, with 36.90%
3rd: Blitzens, with 33.82%
4th: Comets, with 29.28%

Next week will be especially exciting, as those who haven't reached 40% by Friday are grounded, and must watch their teams fly off without them. How will the standings change? How will our reindeer cope? Will the Vixens finally topple?
STAYED TUNED FOR ANOTHER EXCITING INSTALLMENT!
