That has to be up there in the BT IM record books? As far as hotels, I would start at the website. You may be out of luck for now, though. All hotel bookings are done through the IM website. However, there are hotels in the area that can be found that are not part of the official program and really aren't that far away. Also, since the way they book hotels, many become available 2-3 weeks before the race, but that can be risky. Good luck with that. Weather is a crapshoot. Anywhere from 40-90 deg they have seen in the 8 years. Rain, wind, humidity are all possibilities. Birkie will keep us updated as we get closer to race day (say w/in 100 days or so?).

I'm going to start working with a coach which should hopefully help to light a fire under my butt. It's definately a struggle during these cold days of winter. Runnin on a treadmill gets incredibly boring. |
