He uses the phrase Q 1-2-3-4 to designate the workout place in the week.  Since each week has 4 sessions what he calls Q)  I got in the habit of callint them that too.

I had a heck of a time getting the HR up, guess it was the need of food cause I was ravenous when I got finished.

easy minimal ride late this evening....if it's nice out tomorrow I might consider taking the race bike out for the longer ride.  No sense sitting on the trainer when the sun is shining.

Welcome to week two of the drainer challenge!!!! Fortunately the temps here are going to be "warm" enough to ride outside this week. Looking forward to putting in a few miles. Lots easier on the arse to ride outside!!!!!

Hows things going there Lisa????? You fought the beers ...and the beers won????

Headed to Swim Bike Run of KY to enjoy my first ever computrainer session. I am planning on an hour and a half today.

I had my last race of the season yesterday, my first trail race (been hitting the trails weekly all summer long) it went great (5th place females age 37-50) but sadly my piriformis is still killing me so despite my prescription anti inflammatorys I could barely walk the rest of yesterday and today. Thankfully, as long as I don't stand up, riding the bike doesn't pain me at all. So I have replaced all my planned runs this week with bikes, should have no problem making my goal this month :-)

5 pm and I am just getting ready to ride. Dark as coal outside. Drainer Q3 for me. I have a nice beef stew cooking for motivation Hoping to enjoy some outside time next week. I love the cool temps but want the June or July daylight. Is that asking too much? I am in SOUTHERN New England.

Lovely! It's been pretty great riding weather here too recently but now we are heading into summer its getting hotter and hotter so riding is getting earlier and earlier in the morning!

Specialized had a demo day near us yesterday so I took a gorgeous bike for a spin on the trails, I've been thinking about getting myself a half decent mtb for a while...you can never have too many bikes right?!....and it was great, the bike was amazing. I did stack the bike though, came off a mini bridge with one wheel, had nowhere to go and so I went over the handle bars and sideways with the bike on top of me. Mostly just superifical cuts and bruises but I have banged up my right knee massively, walking is an issue right now even. I'm hoping its just all the swelling though...with any luck....and I am still hankering after a new bike!

OMG! I hope your knee is better. That must have raised a few eyebrows when you brought the bike back.

My heartrate was a mess.... By the time the rest interval was over I was still in the peak zone! This plan should wipe me into shape in a jiffy though!
