I'm still running!  I got the flu which knocked me down pretty good.  I'll update the spreadsheet later today.  Cheers!

Hang in there , i was sick too . But intend on running my way into the new year . The way i see the less time i spend in the store fighting crowds, traffic and spending money i don't have
& the more i run the happier i will be.

Was planning on running 10-11 miles this am, but the person i ran with had to get more miles in marathon prep, so I ended up getting about 15.5.  After the run headed to the pool for a short swim. Water felt great and I think swimming is great for long run recovery.

Happy weekend everybody!

I hope you feel better and congratulate you for running so much while you've been sick. I'm a wimp when I've got the flu.
I really hope you are better for the holidays.

Van_paulus...
I couldn't agree more about avoiding the crowds, the spending.... the shopping. :-)

Ann Marie i agree : Swimming after strenuous runs feels great.

I did 6.6 miles this morning at our club run . It was nice and flat a change form the hilly dirt trail
last saturday.

Did some shopping at 9 am after the run and it was pretty stress free ( i was by myself) . Went back for more this afternoon (accompanied) and it was not fun dealing with lines , traffic .

No shopping for me. This trip -- and the required entrance fees for attractions -- is my Christmas gift to my family.

3.75 miles this morning; at last 4 planned for tomorrow morning. And then LegoLand.

I've updated my numbers.

I hope those of you feeling under the weather will feel better soon.

Hey team!
Everyone is looking pretty good.
I too have been a little bit sick. Just a cold with a blocked nose so no massive worry, but I missed 2 bikes and a swim last week, and had to cut my long run down a bit.
Anyway, back on the horse today with a long swim and some hill sprints this afternoon (joy :S).

Missed my swim this morning. I just couldn't drag myself out of bed at 4:30... Not a good way to start the week. At least I got my run in. Feeling healthy but tired.... It really is a busy month.
Have a great week everyone.

Last week of training was pretty good although missed a bike and run workout each..ah well.  I pretty much demolished my legs this weekend though with an intense bike saturday, long run and hockey game sunday.  I am running on empty today and the legs need to recooperate.

Have a good week everybody.

Sorry to hear about the injury!  Hope it heals quickly!

I'm still plugging along.  Not exactly the volume I had hoped for but trying to get back to the bike and pool as well so...

I did sign up for a local half mary at the end of Feb.  Figure it will give me some additional motivation!

Who's a lucky guy??

If you answered with Stuart, then you are correct.

It was my birthday yesterday and my girlfriend got me a Garmin Forerunner 610! Stoked! having a play with it now to see how many cool features it has!

Oh and the runs are going ok too. Still have a bit of a cold so the intensity isn't quite there, but I am getting the zone 2 workouts done.

Keep it up everyone, less than 10 days to go.

But no. Just Disney. ;-)

Hooray for longer days! Another great shot of the pup there, van_paulus. Definitely jealous of all that sunshine.

Team Apres Ski is still looking great through the middle of December. Keep it up team!
