Team Crowie! We need to pull together and take the lead. My part seems like I am slacking but I am on track to complete my goal. My next run is planned for tomorrow.

We can do it!

I got off to a slow (non) start, but I'm in it to win it now. It's going to be uphill for me for quite a while.

4.3 miles in this afternoon. I'm hoping for 5-6 tomorrow. I'm working back into it slowly. It was a lovely day -- 49 degrees and sunny, no wind. Just perfect.

owl_girl - 2012-01-07 5:23 PM My mood is much improved today!  I went on an absolutely beautiful, sunshiny and warm bike ride on my new tri bike today.  It was my new bike's first ride on the road.  She's fast!  I can't wait to really open her up and see what she can do!  I can't believe I was taking it easy today!  Whoooo weeeee!

Awesome! That's how I felt when I first took mine out. Then I was frightened about how fast I felt like I was going and got worried I was going to hit a rock or a crack or sneeze. lol Now it's safely on my trainer.

This is my second tri bike.  My first one was replaced on warranty.  The frame broke.  This new one rocks! Laughing

Good for you!  I'm thinking the entire US is in the midst of an unseasonably warm winter.

Run 3/14 complete! All of my training has been coming along well... except for the swim portion. Set up and take down is so time consuming! I start swimming lessons this Saturday (7 weeks long) to improve my stroke/efficiency. Once that starts I expect to be in the water 3 days a week so that I have lots of time to practice and perfect the suggestions.

Team Macca is looking strong!

I added to our numbers.  I wanted to do 10 miles today.  Unfortunately, my ankle disagreed.  I got 6 done.  Whatever!  At least I'm running.

Just pushed Team Crowie back up into the #2 spot!  Finished 8.8 mile run today, felt good to get over the 6 mile wall.  I haven't done that since November.  Feels good to be in ramp up mode!  This week is going to be big (30ish) witht he last 8 being a race, that should help the numbers!

Hooray! I did 5.45 tonight that I still need to log. I definitely feel back. My throat is still complaining and I still have the sinus headache, but basically I feel good.

I loved my swimming lessons -- they really were the best part of my week. I looked forward to it so much. I hope you enjoy it.

Got another 2+ miles in tonight, running to a friend's house with the promise of chocolate cake!  Totally undid the run with the cake, but well worth it!  I probably could have run home, but since I'd already run 5 this morning and am just getting back into it (plus with it being 10pm), I thought the safer bet would be to accept the ride someone was offering home!

**Edit** This is my 1000th post!  And it's about chocolate cake!  WIN!!

I had so much fun snow shoeing this weekend.  Even ran across Bigfoot..hehehe  I am absolutely hooked. Going back in a couple of weeks. Really hoping for a big snowfall 1st, it was 37 degrees at the pass, little too warm.

That was great - this time of the year in Buffalo that is streaking - you go much further - parts can fall off - just saying Innocent

I'd die!!!!  It never reaches 78 degrees here even in the middle of summer!!!  A hot day is in the upper 60's around here.
