Morning Gorgeous!   How are you???  These are the first couple of days in a month that I haven't been on a temp contract so I've got time to be on the internets...  Wheee!

I had a second interview yesterday with the in-house legal team at a fairly major bank, so maybe this will be the *gasp* end to my leisure time. 

Hopefully I won't need luck with the DMV, but sadly, I probably will. 

Ha!  As those were my only options when we got married, I decided to not change my name.   

Oooh Good luck with the interview!! I will send as much good mojo as I can your way. I don't know how much good it will do since the fields are rather different but I will do what I can.

It is DMV you will need lots of luck just to not have to spend half the day there!

Nice try, but I'm not EVER going to be un-Canadianized.  I'm pretty sure that one of the components in my blood make-up is maple syrup.  The nice thing is that if I get this job with the bank, it's a Canadian company so all the keyboards are set to proper Canadian English!  WOOT!  I also told those interviewing me that I would be willing to help with any spelling and/or translations between Canadian and American.

Sigh - I should really just pack up my knapsack and be prepared for several hours of staring at the walls of the DMV.  Ugh.

Those jerks!  Playing on my Canadian-ness like that. 

I feel your pain... Massive thunder & lightening storm this morning (complete with deluge of rain) and possibly snow on Friday. W.T.F.???

We're totally moving somewhere WARM next year. 

Yes sucks, sat thru 4 hours of baseball yesterday night cold, rain and freezing cold winds....so not fun being a parent sometimes! 

I love it here but will not stay forever either. 

I love Chicago in the summer.  This winter crap needs to stop. 

I will get the mojitos ready!!!

I will wear my suit full time

My kids have been playing for two weeks already.....one of them is 7 and there is no such thing of calling the game on cold weather these days. 

But I am excited cause the swag they got this year ALMOST fits me, including the under armour gear.

On another note the girls softball team got these under armour warm-up pants that say "Magic" across their butts....I snerked.  Many other parents find it inappropraite.

Cold front came through.  House was 68 this morning!  WTH?  I'm mostly fine with it though, mostly.  It will get hot soon enough, so the longer the cool weather stays, the happier I am.
