Yep, it were hot. . Went through about twenty Endurolytes and still rode with cramps the last thirty five miles.

I was riding with the main group - 100+ riders, and just missed being part of a really ugly pileup when the only rider on a tri-bike swerved into a rider on his right. Usual evasive mayhem ensued and at least one guy, basically right in front of me, went down hard. Nice jolt of adrenaline, for sure.
