Master 1726 Sacramento, California | Subject: RE: Show us your Ghoulies - Halloween Run Challenge Dinner was AMAZING last night! We each had one of the tasting menus and they were both delicious! We had the wine pairings with the courses and got to try some great wines! My favorite dish was the sweetbreads in green mole. |

Did my run beforehand and now it is time to head off to my DD birthday party. Hopefully sneak off to the gym afterwards for a swim & ST because it is raining again! Have a great day everyone! Just home from church too. Now I've got an exciting afternoon of scanning and emailing thousands of papers to the mortgage company. (Okay, maybe not thousands.) Forecast for today and the next three days - Showers. Bleh, bleh, bleh. |

I should go to church, but after I had a weird experience at the church near my house I have not been (except for when I am visiting my parents and at the church I grew up in) in two to three years or so...I just thought it was odd that on Easter (this was a couple of years ago) the whole sermon was about how President Bush was evil...now I am a democrat and I was not a big Bush fan, but I don't think EASTER (or church at all) is the place to be discussing this...So now I go for a run and pray on Sunday mornings...its kind of my own church. No kidding not the time OR the place. I use gardening, running, biking or just being as my church. |

Good stuff. My training log is going to be CRAMMED with "house cleaning" after today. I've already put in over 2 hours and I'm just getting warmed up. Here's to cardio-sweeping/wiping/scrubbing/folding! sounds good...been a while since I have made one of those....thanks for reminding me! Lately seems I keep getting stuck in my rut of making the same lunches/dishes. I put apples in my tuna...makes it crunchy and naturally sweetens it...especially good the day or two after it was made!!! mmmmmmm you are making me hungry...and Im trying to hold off for the food at the festival. I CAN DO IT!!! |

Pro 4482 NJ | Subject: RE: Show us your Ghoulies - Halloween Run Challenge Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday. The weather was terrific today. Lots of sun. I got a swim in early then went out for b'fast. This afternoon rode the Electra (and yes, she has a wicker basket and bell) up to the town sqaure for the fall festival. I heart kettlecorn. So now got to go pack. Am working in Munich for the next couple days and am flying out tonight. Will try to keep irrational jetlagged but can't sleep posting to a minimum. Not going to forget the ambien this trip. Saucony's and Garmin first things going in the bag. |

Champion 7546 Santa Cruz, California | Subject: RE: Show us your Ghoulies - Halloween Run Challenge serendipity - 2009-10-03 1:32 PM After my daughter finished her riding lesson I checked out a new gym in the area. Figured I might have to break down and run on a treadmill this winter. Going to start doing some strength training too. The couple that owns the place is very nice, and they are adding on a room to have classes like, oh, yoga and such...you know, if they can find a yoga teacher who might be willing to trade teaching for treadmill time.... that would be great if you could work that out |
