I'm gonna do an hour-by-hour shot of my disintegration on the 10-hour trainer ride. Should be a doozy.

I'll definitely be getting out at least once.  Must have reprieves from Dad's girlfriend, training is a great excuse!

How can that be an actual work station? It is way too neat. You know what they say, a neat desk is the sign of a sick mind -if they dont say that, they should. My desk always looks like someone came in over night and threw files around, so obviously I have a very healthy mind.

Believe it or not but I'm a pretty tidy person. However, you can't see the stacks of books and papers on either side of me.

I'll be out of town and won't be taking my bike and I can't run, so I'll try to get some swimming in. The ocean will probably be too cold, so I won't be swimming in it. Luckily there is a really nice swim facility that I should be able to get to - not as fun as the ocean, but at least it will be exercise.

I will take the Cheetos, the pie and those peanut M&Ms please and thank you.

Mmm...Cheetos.  I only ever get them in the individual bags.  Bigger bags end up stale before I can eat them.

That would never happen to me. LOL

Oops sorry, gotta hijack this again...That's me at the bottom--3rd rope from left---didn't make it any higher than that. I do NOT heart rope climbs....but I will work on it until I can at least do them.

That looks like the lake swim at Shepparton 70.3 on Sunday, poor Terenzo was all dirty.  Should I have offered to shower him....

I have that too!  it's just a twinge, it doesn't get worse nor does it get better.  It's worse when I wear flip flops.  Going upstairs is weird, like it's an elastic band or something.  I'm stretching I'm icing but i think I should be taping.

I did an hour-forty-five on Saturday. Yell The only thing that made it semi bearable is that Kona is a 2 hour show this year!

A tip at the weekend, gonna give it a try.

For those hours and hours on the bike - lady bits get a little tender (understatement)  girlfriend on the weekend said she found the cure.  At night before bed after shower, pure coconut oil rubbed on - and in the morning good as new.  She said it's a miracle drug!  My local deli also says it's perfect for cooking, don't need so much and doesn't burn can heat very high.

So one jar for the bathroom and one for the kitchen then!  Best not get them confused!!!!

In other news - MACA POWDER - well it tastes so awful, I bought the pills instead, since then night sweats, just hot and uncomfortable all the time and emotional.  Back to the powder.  Humf.

I woke up this morning to some very kind words from a fellow Manatee, thank you very much Ann-Marie. Then I went out and ran my fastest 3 mile training loop ever.

And a notice on the computer from the UPS tracker that my shoes are in a truck near my house. But not here yet. ARGH, why is UPS taunting me? I've decided that the tracking capability is like being a kid on Christmas Eve. The toys are there, but you can't have them. You can almost touch them, but no playing!

Oh well, that seems to be the worst part of my day, well that and a trip to the dentist. So really, how bad can I possibly be?

We Manatees like trotting with turkeys -- ore maybe we just like eating them and pretend that running a few miles will allow us to do so guilt free!  We have a 5k, an 8k and a 10k on tap tomorrow.

Melanie - Sticks and Biscuits Thanksgiving Day 5k  <- this week's best named run!
Janyne - Turkey Trot (8k)
Jen - Turkey Trot 10k

Go Manatees!

Running the 8k with my aunt.  Well, I'm using "with" loosely.  We are both participating.  I will do it and then make a "cool down" mad dash to the car and get my camera.  Then, if all goes well, I'll get pictures.

Aunt Pat is an inspiration.  She did her first marathon on her 60th birthday (NYC several years ago).  She's a lifetime runner and had trained for two previously but was injured both times.  She sometimes writes for Runner's World.
