I'm a terrible mom. He was making this hilarious mouth open face while at the vet so I took a picture. He looks pissed:
Open mouthed breathing is a sign of stress in kitties. You ARE a terrible mom Glad you noticed and took him in right away though, it is serious, for sure. He really is a pretty little cat. Is this the one that hates you? No, that is baby izz (Izabelle Boomquisha is her real name)

She was Mary Lincoln's dress maker and friend during the White House years and right after the assassination. Gives an interesting look at the Lincoln's - especially Mary. It is a very quick read.
