olliedawg - 2009-10-09 7:20 AM Morning TAN.  Things that are running through my head right now:

1. I hope the offer I put on the house yesterday is accepted.
2. I am officially 365 days away from my wedding day.
3. TAN is pretty boring lately.
4. I really need to txt Tony.
5. For someone who doesn't really dig the drama, I have a lot going on right now.

What's going through your head this morning?

Yeah you've got quite a lot going on.  I'm just thinking about a shipment coming in today and the fact I'd much rather be somewhere else about now.

Yep... but, I just took care of #4.  Or would that be #2... now I'm just confused.

So, I just went over and spied on the other kids' clubhouse (Tri Talk's super-lame-o version of TAN) and not only have they stolen TAN's idea, but they're even stealing the 'toppage'.  Although, I think we've abandoned that one.  Nonetheless... what'a bunch of copy cats.

Oh... and don't think I didn't see some of you posting in there.  FOR SHAME!!!

Going through my head this morning.... (I like this topic! We should do this more)

- Tomorrow is gonna be a busy, awesome day. Diabetes Walk with my mom, buying RACE WHEELZ!!!! EEEK!!!, 2 hour bike, 45min swim. Nice.
- I'm going to take a long lunch and swim today, hopefully no one will notice.
- I've been seriously lacking motivation since Redman. Kinda wish I had ended the season with that race instead of Austin in a few weeks. Oct. 25 is toooo late to end my season, when it started the 1st week in June. Actually I started training for my February marathon in October last year and rolled right into Kansas 70.3 training, so I really haven't had a break in about a year. Yikes.
- Good news/bad news... my boyfriend will NOT be deploying early next year as thought (he wanted to deploy for many reasons which I support). Instead, he is the new Commander for a unit in Arkansas, which is a 10-hour drive from where we live. So he has to drive 20 hours each month or find flights and rental cars. That kinda blows, but he's excited about the new opportunity.
- Happy Friday!

Arkansas has some hidden gems of places in it.   The only diamond mine in the continental US, Hot Springs is a wonderful town,  and....ok... so it has 2 hidden gems

Sup sluts!

Some German friends o' mine are throwing an Octoberfest party on Saturday.  Complete with authentic German eats.  And of course karaoke and the annual beer pong tourney... both traditional German activities.

Me and a few competitors will be practicing training tonight.  I'm going to pick up the beer on the way home and I'd like to only buy one type in bulk.  Keep in mind that my fiance would prefer Bud Light.  While I usually prefer a darker, stout-er beer, I recognize the need to go a bit lighter during competition.

So, TAN-ites.... Mini TAN poll!!!  What beer should I choose?

Corona: Still has flavor for you. Not chewey and heavy for her.
Stella Artois: Same idea, hoppier flavor
Natty Light: Hey, it's about quantity, not quality!

Ix-nay on the Natty... although the camo cans are pretty sweet.  I made burritos the other night with Coronas, so I'm ready for something else.  The Ms doesn't like Stella.   Hmmm... I do like Yuengling.  Do they sell Yuengling Light in the can?
