Good morning everyone!  I got 35 minutes in this morning (which made 90 miles, yahoo!), which leaves me with just 21 minutes to make my goal.  It shouldn't be a problem!!!

Morning team!!  With 3 days left, we are at 96.58% as a team.  We can definitely finish this one at or above 100%!!

Congratulations to SpokaneJo, lyssa-gator, Scotinseattle, and cchapman3!  They are all at 110%!!  Their running work for the month is done!  Great job!

Congratulations also go out to dragoman, dimplespoo, barqhead, and Reno8 who have all made their goal!  Great job!  (Can you give us a little more?  )

The rest of us need to focus on getting in as much as we can.  If you can't make your goal, please try to get a little closer.  Anything you can do will help us towards our victory.

dh got called in to work this morning, but am expecting him home around 3. so i'll run this afternoon.
i looked up the top 10 in my age group that did danskin last year, and i've decided i wanna place this year, so i'm setting myself some pretty lofty goals my biggest issue is the bike. i HAVE to get used to it, and i need to brick a LOT to get used to that leg thing.
yay scissors on taking first place!! you guys are totally awesome!!

yeah, my first tri my time was 2:13 i think (something like that anyway) i'm doing another one in april, that and danskin are the only ones i've done, so i'm just looking to knock an HOUR off my original time LOL
9 minute T2 is pretty funny actually!! my T1 was 2:30 minutes and i think my T2 was more like 6 or 7 minutes!! so i hear ya! i got on my bike, put my helmet on-ate a protien bar, had a drink of water, you know, i may as well have gone to the bathroom too while i was there!! LOL it's a RACE lyssa!!! get your butt moving!! LOL
i think i'll be able to do a lot better next time, looking back, i don't think i was really as prepared for that race as i thought i was at the time. i'd love to place in AG in danskin, that would be RAD, but i'd settle for getting under the 90 minute mark.

I felt really crappy last year. I  had gone out on the Friday night and on Saturday I started my period. Urgh. I suffer from endometriosis and it hit me bad this month around. Rarrrrr.  So in T2 I was debating whether I wanted to carry on.

Okay, I'll admit, it was SLOW.  That race before that I did pretty well, T2 was 1:08, but there the porta-potties were outside of the transition area.

Add one more to the 110% club

This has been the best group EVER...Thanks EVERYONE for all the inspires and "chats" supporting each other.  You guys (and gals ) ROCK.

I am going to lay out of the March challange as I am going to make myself get in the pool several times a week.  That is also a very busy time with baseball etc. and I also have my 33 anniversary on the 15th so I guess I ought to do something...maybe a card AND flowers this year...... nah probably not.  I am going to keep an eye on you guys next month so go out there and represent the Scissors.

I just found out it means "hurry up!  get up!"  Almost as good as "up!  move!"  which is what I thought it meant, and which is what I need to do more of :D

The 3 sprint tris I did last summer, I used a bucket to carry my stuff and to sit on @ transition to make it easier to change shoes et al.  Which it did, especially cuz I was usually shaking after the swim.  But I'd also space out a bit and forget I was racing.  No more buckets for me.

I wasn't feeling well either but some of that was self inflicted and plus it was one of the most miserable summer days in Seattle. It was pouring, cold...just horrible. I am hoping it's at least dry this year so I can step it up on the bike. I was afraid to speed up incase I wiped out.
