I don't know - I've found nothing so far. SO now I'm going ot have to take a crappy even-lower-paying job because of this, IF I can get hired, since the market is glutted with peopel who need a job and there aren't enough to go around.

Doesn't matter. I'm the failure of the family. I have two equally useless degrees, I don't have a boyfriend, and now I don't have a job. My sister is the prize - she's 25, has an MBA, a high-paying job that she'll never lose and a boyfriend that my parents seem to love. I'm the one who "can't keep it together".

No they won't.  They will be understanding.  It's the climate.

ALSO, let's pray something comes along quick for you.  You didn't like that place anywho, so no loss there.  But getting something new and better can be your job now...

One week (hah) and the rest of my PTO, which was about 44 hours. So two weeks. Not very much.

I know you already seem pessimistic and your family may not be encouraging but I'm serious when I say you need to find INNER happiness because it will reflect out of you....I know it sounds cheesy but I also know you are a good christian...God has a plan for you; it's not your plan but it will come together!

In some ways you felt like that even when you had a job. It isn't the job or not that makes you feel that way.

You are suffering from teh major suxxage right now, and rightly so. But you will be taken care of. You have been promised that.

Have you considered teaching? You're a wonderful writer and you'd be a wonderful teacher.
