Ha Ha... Emma, been there and lived off of that...  case of Top Raman, several cans of speghetti O's, and PB&J!  Gotta do, what ya gotta do!  (oh yeah... and beer!)  that always seem to find its way into the limited budget...it served two purposes (liquid bread (food group) & hydration....well kinda!)

Betsy0706 - 2010-01-21 12:35 PM Ahhh...fond memories

Emmanem - 2010-01-21 12:01 PM You people and your fancy meals... Wooohoooo Ramen for the second time in 24 hours!!!

Note: The second sentence should be read with extreme sarcasm as this college student would love a real home cooked meal instead of heatable meals.

Trin2bfast - 2010-01-21 12:36 PM Well, I finally had some free time at work to get on the net (BT specifically) and our dadblasted internet server was out/down!  Then I come into a chaotic morning and finally after a 46 week hiatus (or so it would seem) I am FINALLY up to date on the posts... too far behind to comment specifically... so,

Good job, get well, way to go, suck it up buttercup, LMAO, & you're nuts!  Should just about cover all the posts (excluding fence posts) that I missed!  Insert where appropriate!

This group has been putting up some great numbers... As the old mg peeps know, it is not like me to be this far removed... so hopefully work (and home computer issues) will work with me a little more and I'll stay better connected.

We are having some awesome weather today... totally wishin' I had taken the day off to go out and swim... perfect swimming weather!

i wish you did to.  i heard your wave is in front of me at LS.  its gonna suck swimming over you at 150 yards in.

I actually love ramen.  I'm having it for lunch right now, as a matter of fact.  But I usually tart it up with tuna or chicken and bean sprouts, and add a ton of soy sauce.  And I also don't buy that Top Ramen stuff that comes in 100 packs or whatever.  The Shirakiku brand is what they sell at the local grocery boutique, and it's really good and not too expensive.

Also, Emma, I've been meaning to ask what you study at Clemson. I have some good friends who teach in the Math Dept. there.

Hate to interrupt this testosterone filled "swim throwdown" but just wanted to drop in and and say Hi! I'm back.  Thanks to everyone for the inspires.  It's hard keeping the workouts on track when traveling and jet-lagged.  Your notes really helped.  Now off to deal with the ridiculous amount of work e-mail that came in today while I was flying.  If only there were inspires for tracking how many:  irrelevant e-mails I delete without opening, questions they answer before I can even read, or I'm cc'd to cover someone else's a$$.  I'd be an e-mail champ.

Catch up later.

LMFAO!  Hilarious fatty!  I will swim fist drills and switch to kicking only and still spank your younger non-swimming a$$!  HA!  How early into Sunday's ride should I drop you?  Do you think you can stay on my back wheel, at least out of the parking lot! lol!

I hate traveling, always screws up the workout schedule and makes me tired.  For irrelevant emails, I'm a master at this being the engineer babysitter that I am... Sort by subject, read the last one for a given topic, if it matters save it till later and delete/move all else

I don't think ramen qualifies as solid... kinda like, poptarts don't qualify as 'real' breakfast food...
Ha Ha ... heart ya honey!  Says the guy that just scarfed down a pack of two yummy Reese's PB Cups... that'll be a couple miles to work off that 15 second pleasure.

Hi Group Evondo!

Working up to 15 miles a week on the dreadmill this week.

Still struggling on the left knee.  Backed off the spin this week and does seem to make a different.  I have been spinning with cages but I finally got my new bike this week and the shoe will be in this weekend.  So, I am hoping that will help?

New bike? do tell... or did I miss that in the previous 46 pages I missed... I saw Kel's bike, but where's your mighty steed?

On a side note, I had a check up with my new doctor and guess what???????/ There is a bike shop right around the corner (walking distance). They had Felt, Orbea, Guru, and Cannondale Tri/tt bikes. I got a bunch of brochures now I just need to start laying them around the house to give the wifey the hint.

All good choices... decisions, decisions!  I have a new obsession with the Fuji D6 Pro... That is my flavor of the week.  It changes rather often though.  Good luck planting those seeds... let the other seed planter/cultivators know how that goes... lol!
