Sigh...

In and out kinda day.

Maybe make pumpkin bread later...while wearing latex.

Gloves.

I'm already wearing my nitrile golves.  not quite as stretchy but better chemical protection.

Bring on the pumpkin bread!

My wife assignes the making of pumpkin bread (the chocolate chip version) all winter to me.  Now that it's a frigid 70 degrees, it may start.  But I end up eating it all, and get ever MORE pudgy.

Well I will be out that way sometime next week probably so if you commence to baking I will happily save you from the pudgy fate.

Good for him!  I am glad he was there to watch out for you.  We need to send that man some pumpkin something or other.

We have lots of pumpkin here! If I feel okay I will bake him peanut butter pumpkin cookies soon.

Shoot I'm taking a vacation and coming over to your house!!

How much are flights to Indonesia?

One way?

Whatever cheapie you can get FL-CA, then it's $651 to Bangkok and $80 to Bali.

So about $1000 each way.  Hubby may balk at that.

Off-season you can get RT from CA for around $1000, so that leaves the FL-CA RT price.

Yeah that's close to $800 as far as I can tell.  It is on my bucket list to do some day though.

The unexpected trips this year and the likelyhood that I will have to go out to Vegas in another 6 months make it tougher to convince hubby to let me go.

What is the "off" season out there?

That would be terrific.  I did find a lower fat version.  Substitute half the oil for vanilla yogurt...  I made some versions that if you left on a paper towel over night, the towel would be yellow soaked with oil in the morning.

Hiya TAN. I'm in a boatload of pain, but just trying to take it one day at a time and accept wherever it is I'm at.

Okay. Doing dog training and riding on the trainer was also a shyty idea.

Look at it this way, you are a stone's throw from being all better.  How big of a rock did you make?

Let's all chug a pint of aqua pura with Yanti.

Hugs and lots of sympathy.  Once upon a time, I watched JWKMH writhe in the floor of the bathroom with a kidney stone.  It was not a good night.  I really am praying for this to be last medical training exercise you give your ER doc for a long while.

TW

Snerk. Punny. And thank you.

Little Rock (2-3mm), but like Arkansas, big and sharp, enough to scrape the tissues bloody, cause infection, and make me cry.

Writhing on the floor was definitely what I was doing when Jim dragged me to the ER (over my protests, even! I'M FI-I-I-NE OW DAMMIT FINE!)

Even the ER doc, whose personal cell number I have, and who usually yells at me, was sympathetic.

Considering I'm not much use of anything while laid up, the one thing I can still do lots of is pray ... and so there you and the G6 remain.

Be glad you had sombody to take you.

Me:  Writhing on the floor with a gallstone attack.  Feels like somebody is cutting me open from the tip of my sternum to my backbone with a hot dull knife, 6 month old sitting in his swing screaming.  I have to get up, get my purse and his diaper bag, get him into his carseat (almost passed out at that one) and drive myself to the ER.  I get there, they take me in, a nurse shows up and starts examining...... My son, asking me what is wrong with him.

Ha! I remember that story. I am very grateful to Jim--I'm sure I would have gone in the morning but he spared me a lot of suffering by insisting we go NOW.

Janice has had babies (three times), kidney stones (twice), and gallstones.  Me nada.  I suppose I have it coming someday.

Everything about Bacon is good.  And it never lasts overnight on a paper towel.  Therefore, I don't know what color it will turn the paper towel.

I is logical that way!
