I don't know man, I haven't been here much today.  I really don't think all that much went on in TAN today.

I might have to take out Crowny to become head-evil-scientist.

You can get Scout to blow him up. He LOVES blowing stuff up... and he knows how to do it too, for real.

Meh, I would just clone myself.

Better start working on that now.

Spokes - 2008-07-31 7:20 PM Ok, does anyone want to hear the Saga of the Kids being dropped off at the airport? Its even funnier because X2 is in the industry as a ticket agent...

Hey Spokes!

only if it doesn't get the thread pulled...

Totally G-rated.

Ok, they made the connection from ATL-DSM but the plane was a little late.

Dad got there, got a gate pass to go through security, and waited in the Delta waiting room, which is off of the main gates... and waited... and waited.

Turns out that they sent her plane to a different gate and while the DSM airport is small its not THAT small, but anyway, she had my cell #ers, my work, dad's cell #ers... and didn't call any of us to find out where Dad "was"...

Finally she apparently brought the kids out through security, dumped 'em with Mom, who was waiting outside, and ran like hell to the Delta service counter to get on the flight back that was going via CVG... then runs past my Mom with a dirty look because she said "He didn't show up at the gate!"

Um, all she had to do was call him - or call me and I would've called him - to meet her.

Planes get routed to different gates all the time, particularly in smaller airports where they're not 'busy' but the planes have to leave on time to make it back to whatever hub they're going to.

It's a good sign that you're able to laugh about this.

You are soooooo better off!  (not that you need to be reminded of that
