mr2tony - 2013-02-11 1:54 PM Crap. It's cold again today. I left the gym last night and was going to jump the bus home. It was so nice I decided to walk. This morning I left the second coat at the crib and instantly regretted it. I guess winter isn't over. Yet.

Sorry Bro.  Stupid Groundhog never gets it right.

Since we brought-up weather.  Weather forecast calls for 40% chance of rain at 5:15 when I'm usually riding home and same 40% chance at 5am when I usually ride in.

A) Suck it up and Ride

B) Wuss out and drive home/in

C) fill in the blank

C)  That depends on the type of rain you are likely to get, the temps outside and the likelyhood of lightning.

It is bound to lighten during the morning, but rarely does that happen in the evening.

Yeah here if it is raining there is a good chance for lightening.  Sucks getting caught out in a lightning storm!!

Really?  It usually darkens during a storm.  Hmmm...

Not when those great big bolts come crashig down from the sky less than a mile from you!

 Ah got it smart alec!!

Not really true in a snow storm though.

I LOVE the term "thundersnow" - we get that occasionally. Cool stuff.

We're heading into severe weather season around here... coming up on the 1 year anniversary of the tornado that hit my workplace (where I'm sitting right meow!). It's surreal to think back on it. We are still demolishing buildings (one just came down last week) and construction/repair will be ongoing for years to come. Mother Nature is a bee-yoch sometimes.

Crazy

I know I am in Southern Ontario and we get the worst of that type of weather here. We do get tornadoes and have had some bad ones for our area. Much smaller then the ones that you have but still have wiped out some small towns etc.

Ya I recall the radio station using Thundersnow when they seen a video clip of a reporter covering a snowstorm and the lightening and thunder hit and he freaked out... Stuck in my head

Oh man 15 mins left and I just want out of here today.

I have to participate in cooking a pancake breakfast for the whole plant tomorrow and they want me to be in my Pjs. I am not wearing my best Scooby Doo's into this place.

What's the temperature? I don't mind rain when it's not f-f-f-freezing out. Like this morning, had it been precipitating it would've been a lot worse.

64 degrees, dropping to 56 degrees.  11 mph wind.  tonight.

52 degrees in the AM with 40% chance of rain still.  9mph wind.

If I do ride tonight, I have to ride tomorrow morning.  It's binary ride 2x or no ride.

I'm thinking "suck it up buttercup".

Some things are better left in the confines of the marriage boudoir...

So what's everyone having for din?

I'm waiting on traffic to clear-out a bit because it's a T-Stormin outside and they don't teach driving in the rain in Texas...

But then I think I'm gonna do a Salmon concoction of some sort.  Any ideas?
