Is it just me or are the topics in COJ beyond boring and lame?  Really.  It's not even worth looking anymore.  BT has become a rated-G Disneyland .....  I hate that a bunch of adults have been reduced to talking like they are in room full of children.  Except for you freaks!!!

Yawn.

Hey Zilla that's why we need to get the project launched posthaste!

I miss Volleyball and basketball. I haven’t played either since I lost my weight. I could still touch the rim at 260 I wonder what I can do now.

Can't completely give it up yet, but the competition get younger and faster as I get older and less agile.

I was a short (5'11") front row slammer because I was quick and could jump. Now I am slower and can not jump.  I use to love it when I stood at the net across from like a 6'4" dude and he would laugh at me until I could get a moving jump slam under the 10' line.

Same for basketball. I went from a slash dunker to the old guy posting up and shooting jumpers.

Basketball-wise, I was a white boy being only able to touch the rim - couldn't dunk.  I can still get a run and then jump and touch the rim.

I quit playing v-ball about 3 years ago when my lower spine started hurting (still does at times) from jumping, and my right hip/socket would hurt really bad from lateral movement (I think it's some kind of "-itis" from getting old).  I miss doing middle quicksets and jump serves.

Depends on why you're rolling on the gym floor, but, yes, competitive v-ball will make you sore.

Not much.  I qualified for my pilot bonus in December, so that was nice.  Bought a new car as a present to myself after I invested the majority of it in my family (college funds, paying off debt, etc.).  So, I'm pretty happy.  How 'bout you?
