Almost, but today has not rain THAT much. Was lucky enough to sneak my long run early morning. Anyways, since my oldest son is named Noah, I am not too worry. His Ark building skills are legendary.

Yeah I'm fine, I know how to swim plus I have a kayak if push comes to shove. 

Actually it's not to bad here I can even see blue sky.  I expect we will get some more rain later in the ay but nothing like yesterday.

I'm in a BAD mood.  So angry with work right now.  Probably on edge and stupid threads are setting me off.  I should walk away for a while.

Now that I have been at work for a couple months, it has been becoming more clear they brought me on to get through this large project, but basically plan to dump me afterwards.  So going to look for a new job before that happens.  Hopefully leave before the job is over, so they feel the pain.

Meanwhile, they are throwing my resume to the city/county to get work.  I don't want to balckmail them and say no, since I'm only part time, but I'm also uncomfortable of them using my resume for SOQ's that last up to two years, when they plan to drop me in 6 months.  I'm talking about them pulling mine out.  I need to protect myself, but they are trying to argue that it's no big deal and it's a snapshot in time.  I am part of their staff at the time they submit.  It's true, I know their point, but it's the principle of the thing. 

They shouldn't be able to use me to get more work for years to come but not keep me around.  But if they do use me, and get work, then they keep me.  Catch 22.

Recovering. For real. Not like my usual pseudo-(I'm really training a bunch of hours and dancing with piglets)-recovery.

They do have Pics of him at camp and I think I have to kill him.  Or at least tell him "If I see one more camp pic of you with your shorts halfway down your butt, I will post that unfortunate looking dodgeball picture of you, first on Facebook then on iFunny!!! DO NOT let me catch you with your joe boxers showing AGAIN!!!!!"

I would kill his skinny little butt!!!!  I hate that whole pants hanging off your butt thing and I won't let him do it at home.  I have walked up behind him and given him an atomic Wedgie when he has been walking around like that.  Grrrrr Stupid kids!!!! *can't tell him to get off my lawn, though, since he is the one who cuts it. 

What stupid style did you wear that your mom hated? 

I didn't believe it or not. I wore either jeans and t-shirts or dresses, normal, regular dresses, and heels to school.  I did not do the Madonna thing or the big hair or any of the rest of the 80's stuff.  I was a little... um.... different.

When I was in middle/high school the trend was the cropped tops where your belly showed. This was VERY off limits in my household but I managed to get away with a few shirts that were on the line (and promptly pushed it over the line as soon as I left the house). Those things were hideous looking back.

As for hair, my sister and I did the "hairspray the bangs straight up - then over to the side" thing for years. Hilarious!

Damn in my school with a certain group of girls it was spray the bangs straight up then curled forward like a big claw.  I never did figure out what that was all about!

I was very much the loner in school and if the popular kids were doing it I wanted no part of it.  I would often raid my moms closet and wear he business clothes to school.  The really funny thing was in NM the average height is very short so you have me at 5'8" to 5'9" in 3 inch heels walking around school where half the guys came up to my shoulder.
