bcart1991 - 2008-07-28 4:16 PM How many crunches would I need to do in order to firm up the last 10 lbs of my belly before 7 o'clock this evening?

Are you seriously nervous? Have I taught you NOTHING!?!?!

Nah, I'm good to go. Always room for improvement, y'know?

An easy swim and some food = some improvement to my mood.

Not all the way, but some improvement for sure.

Ryan still complaining that some hot chick wants to take him out for dinner and even pay for it - all just to cheer him up?  Rough....

Also a fine line between confidence and arrogance. I stay *just* safely on the confident side.

I'm just quite the humble, laid-back, self-aware fellow. Who doesn't type well.

First post-divorce, chick-wants-to-meet-me gathering. Gonna be fun.

I'm none of that. I'm just smart enough to know that all you have to do is say "tell me about yourself" and then keep my mouth shut for the next 60 minutes.

Although, once that didn't work, and I had to follow that up with "tell me about your shoes".

So, TAN...quick drive by.  Good idea or bad idea: Having a pro bike fitting the day before a race?

BAD

Even changes for the better are changes, and your body will need time to adapt.  I would ride on the existing setup.

However, how long is the race?  If it's a sprint, you may be fine if not just a little sore from the new set up.

Just my 0.02

I think that could only help.

Edit: Why bad? If there are no MAJOR changes, it should benefit.

Bad! Do you really want to find out halfway through the bike that you're having a problem you don't have right now? No changes right before a race!

If you're already having a major problem (and then why would you not think about it 'til the day before?), then it might help and you have nothing to lose.

If not, for the love of your entire body, don't change a thing.

Bad.  Wait till Monday or Tuesday to get the fitting, that will give you enough time to try things out for your race next weekend.

I have a serious salt craving.  Can anyone suggest anything salty that's healthy, 'cause I really don't want to eat hotdogs for dinner.  In case you're wondering I've already had chips & salsa (breakfast) and a sesame bagel (lunch).

You are my hero.

You could try pizza with some kind of salty, meaty topping. Pretzels are good for just plain salt intake.

Aight kids, I'm out for the day.

Stopping by the store to pick up a bottle of wine for the hosts and some snacks for the party.

Woot.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it's a bit hot for soup.
